Afghanistan, the principal area of responsibility of ISAF and the Afghan Govt, is a safe haven still. Questions should be asked as to why the family couldn't be rescued while they were there.

If it weren't for the fact that I know as a matter of fact, that Taliban aren't humans, in the first place and thus don't act like one. I would have asked the purpose of keeping a "family in captivity" for such a long period of time. Just why? There's no apparent reason or purpose. There were, as I understand, no demands met to any Govt for their release. Nor were they killed in retaliation, for anyone. Someone saw "Seven" and took inspiration from it?

Why did they have 3 children and why did the Taliban allow them to birth 3 of them in captivity?!
Why couldn't they be rescued in Afg if the US had intelligence on them the entire time?
