I heard somewhere brahmos corp suggested to integrate Brahmos with P8-I, Tulopov and some other big planes. They suggest that after integration of brahmos to MKI , it won't be difficult to integrate it to Bigger planes...

Lord Of Gondor ,BltZ, Somnath, do you have any Idea if it was rumor ???

Not that I know off the top of my head. This link Upgraded ASW aircraft Tu-142ME was delivered to Indian Navy posted by Lord_of_Gondor says that upgraded Tu-142ME has a combat load 6 BrahMos cruise missiles (9.6 tons) on top of the standard combat load of 8 Kh-35 antiship missiles.

That means Tu-142MEs do have the capability to carry 6 Brahmos cruise missiles.

sancho, angeldemon07, any thoughts guys?

Boeing P-8A is supposed to use Standoff Land Attack Missile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Again I'm not sure if P-8I will carry these)

Not that I have any way to compare these but I noticed a few things

BrahMos beats it in range by 40 kms.

BrahMos is supersonic (Mach 2.8-3.0) while SLAM is subsonic ( < Mach 1).

BrahMost costs US$ 2.73 million while SLAM is $500,000 a piece

Brahmos can only be launched on a MKI?

Actually we also plan to add air Launched Brahmos to our 8 Tu-142 Long range maritime strike platform , These are currently undergoing MLU , with 2 of them already undergoing refit to carry 6 Brahmos each

our earlier Plan was to retire the Tu-142 in 2016 , after the Purchase of P8I , but with the americans refusing to allow us to integrate Brahmos with P8I and instead offered us next gen Harpoon with 312 Km anti ship range , but no land attack capability
Hence MOD decided to order 50 Harpoons for the 12 P8I , and upgrade the Tu-142 so as to extend there life till 2026
Which will enable us to replace them in future with Russian PAKDA ,with Indian Navy looking to acquire 6 of them in 2025

That's mainly an old speculation, but with the selection of P8I to replace the Tu 142, it's solution gone anyway. IN will replace all Russian MPAs in future, which leaves only IAF MKI and FGFA as plattforms to carry Brahmos. Depending on how big and heavy the later Brahmos versions will be, IN Mig 29Ks might be able to carry 1, however IN is focusing mainly on ASW and ASuW with it's MPAs, not land attack so far. There is still nothing official about SLAM-ER missiles so far, only Harpoon, JDAM and Torpedos seems to be cleared.
Also the fact that Indian forces already had rejected the interest in Pak DA shows, that none of them plan to use any long range bomber, which makes their fighters and UCAVs as the first choice for land attack missions.
Btw, Brahmos launched from high altitude gets more range (estimated up to 450Km), which is still too less to use it against targets in Eastern China and a Tu 142 with such a heavy load would be an easy target anyway. Targets in Pakistan can be easily reached from IA land based launchers or with IAF MKIs, which agains rules out the need of Bears with Brahmos.
