FIRST LOOK: The Air-launched BrahMos On A Su-30MKI

Hey. When MKI will arm with brahmos than it will be defenceless or it can carry air-to-air missiles?. Will it effect its meneabrility?

. . .
Didn't you bother to read the 49th reference?
Upgraded ASW aircraft Tu-142ME was delivered to Indian Navy
It does not speak about the Il38SD!

nop........we can also intregate brahmos with other plane SUCH AS TEJAS,Il-38 and Tupolev Tu-142..........

IN FUTURE FGFA WILL ALSO BE ARMED WITH BRAHMOS(MAY BE BRAHMOS 2)
Stop posting this BS!
Tejas max payload is 3.5 tonne.
The Air launched variant of the Brahmos weighs more than 2 tonne!
Tejas cannot carry it without undergoing very heavy airframe strengthening and loosing it's low RCS!

Brahmos will be under belly, the wing hard-points are free to carry any kind of missile/bomb... this pic can give you idea...

In worst case if it can't carry AAMs, it will be escorted by Air-Superiority Su30MKIs... (Like Mirage2000H was escorted by MiG29 in Kargil war)

. .
SO WHAT

I AM TALKING ABOUT BRAHMOS..............how it relates to my post

although i am not EDITOR of wiki articles
This is what you said:
along with su mki,5 Il-38 and 8 Tupolev Tu-142 of IAF are also gonna armed with BRAHMOS air launch variant:cheers:
This is what I asked:
Source for the Sea Dragon's integration with the Brahmos??
This is the source that you gave me:

Empty weight: 6,560 kg (14,460 lb) (without fuel and pilot)
Loaded weight: 9,500 kg (20,944 lb) (with fuel and pilot)
Max takeoff weight: 13,200 kg (29,100 lb) (with fuel, pilot and bombs)

13 - 9.5 =3.5 ton.......that's payload......ok my bad i accept

.
I heard somewhere brahmos corp suggested to integrate Brahmos with P8-I, Tulopov and some other big planes. They suggest that after integration of brahmos to MKI , it won't be difficult to integrate it to Bigger planes...

Lord Of Gondor ,BltZ, Somnath, do you have any Idea if it was rumor ???

. .
don't u want to see brahmos on TEJAS MAX PAYLOAD IS 14 TONES NOT 3.5 TON.........IT CAN EASILY CARRY ONE BRAHMOS.........BUT DON'T KNOW ABOUT AIRFRAME STRENGTH

SP PLZ LEARN SOME UNIT CONVERTING TRICKS.........BEFORE MARKING ANY POST AS BS

From Wiki and DRDO
Empty weight: 6,560 kg (14,460 lb) (without fuel and pilot)
Loaded weight: 9,500 kg (20,944 lb) (with fuel and pilot)
Max takeoff weight: 13,200 kg (29,100 lb) (with fuel, pilot and bombs)

So theoraticaly LCA can take maximum load (Bomb and missile) 3,800 kg =~ 3.5 tons. I think "Lord of gondor" was right..

And moreover this load will be distributed over wings and belly, I am not sure what happen if all weight will be kept under belly.. LCA will collapse.. :P
