Well doesn't matter how deep the problem is , a hero shall not exaggerate in such high degree. However I will also overlook it since he was just a politician ( not a hero ; heroes don't need to exaggerate thing for self interest) who had lots of self interest. So yes if other politicians can lie over and again , why he won't lie, surely he can and did perhaps many more times.

He never even thought that his party members will make him a demi god in later days. I also blame the opposition hugely too who actually not only demonized him , but also wanted to annihilate his family twice ( later was 21 August 2004) .

So people who loved him fall under word game of demi god and demon .

There should be a moderate view in Bangladesh on human being ,instead of demonizing and ideolozing them.

Still I believe that he was one of the best political leaders of this region. But he was not free from self and party interest.

Actually almost everyone ( other than some infected wound of CPB ) knows in Bangladesh that the 3 million dead and 2 lakh rape is unbelievable exaggeration . At worst the murder from both side ( though Bengali loss was naturally much greater ) was limited under 3 lakhs. Also rape victims could be 20/22 thousand.

But the latest ( because we just heard it from this video) exaggeration of burning 25 - 30 million house makes no sense as there can't be 30 millions of house for 75 million people.

What perspective ?

They have no real perspective, first they claim to be unaware of what was happening in the East, now they're experts ?


War happened on our side, there are no two ways of looking at it, the other view is askew and obtuse; a perspective based on state sponsored propaganda, lies and fallacies.

Well like I always say - it is what it is. I realize what you are saying - but trying to change the way things stand will not be achieved by words and adversarial stances, but rather by events and actions. If you stand firm in your convictions, people will see it.

More importantly, knowing that you are and were right is good enough for you, you don't have to convince others. In the end, truth always wins. Karma always bites back.

I have first heard Mujib's voice when he was making a public speech in Faridpur Stadium. And I directly spoke to him, Dr. Kamal and Tofael in a party in a famous hotel thrown by the Japanese govt during his visit of Japan in 1974. There were many other dignitaries with him from BD.

About his claim of destruction, we have to understand that he was a political man. Talking against Pakistan Army was his pass time, so it was natural for him to exaggerate everything. One of the famous exaggerations is 3 million killed and I find this 25 million houses burned by the PA troops also another big lie.

He should have limited his nature of falsifying things because it has caused all of us to do similar things. People try to emulate their leaders. However, we people should not trust whatever our leaders say and pick fight with Pakistani people. They are not that unkind towards us which I found during my stay in Karachi.

It could be 55 too if he was 9 years old and visited bangabadhu with his elders I mean if he is in Japan from his childhood! An 8/9 years old can easily remember everything!

However that doesn't make any difference though.
