Force India has released the first image of its long-awaited 2015 car, the VJM08, which it is hoping will hit the track for the first time on Friday.
After several delays and missing the first two tests, the car has now been fired up at the team's factory in Silverstone and will arrive at the Circuit de Catalunya on Friday for its first track outing.
"It has progressed well over the last few days and the car has now been fired up at the factory," Force India COO Otmar Szafnauer said. "That's always the key moment when the car truly comes to life. We have seen a tremendous effort from every department over the last few months to get us to this stage and we're looking forward to seeing the car take to the track later this week."
Last week the team was forced to test its 2014 car in order to learn more about Pirelli's new tyres and will now have just four days of track time to get an understanding of the new VJM08 before the first race in Australia.
"The VJM08 will arrive in Barcelona on Friday morning and the final set up will take place in the garage at the track," Szafnauer added. "We are aiming to get out on Friday and the new car will run as much as possible over the weekend."
Once again, Force India will be powered by Mercedes' all-conquering power unit and the car carries the hopes of Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez this year. The team launched its new livery in Mexico in January, but this is the first image of the completed car.
