There are strong reports that Pakistan maybe heading to have it's first female President.
The name of Justice (r) Nasira Iqbal who is daughter in law of Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal is said to be considered for the post.

Elected from the parliament?

not from parliament only . election is from a college of electorate with proportional representation.electoral college comprises both houses of parliament and provincial assemblies .

Parties will nominate their candidates who have to win votes from NA and Senate, PTI isn't in position of electing President without support of PPP or PMLN+Others.
