State multiculturalism has failed, says David Cameron
David Cameron has criticised "state multiculturalism" in his first speech as prime minister on radicalisation and the causes of terrorism.

At a security conference in Munich, he argued the UK needed a stronger national identity to prevent people turning to all kinds of extremism.

He also signalled a tougher stance on groups promoting Islamist extremism.

The speech angered some Muslim groups, while others queried its timing amid an English Defence League rally in the UK.

As Mr Cameron outlined his vision, he suggested there would be greater scrutiny of some Muslim groups which get public money but do little to tackle extremism.

Ministers should refuse to share platforms or engage with such groups, which should be denied access to public funds and barred from spreading their message in universities and prisons, he argued.

"Frankly, we need a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and much more active, muscular liberalism," the prime minister said.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

David Cameron strode firmly into a debate where many politicians tread timidly.

In his view, such caution is part of the problem. In frank language he made abundantly clear he believes multiculturalism has failed. Any organisation that does not stand up to extremism will be cut off from public funds, and he wants the country to develop a stronger sense of shared identity.

It is the first time he has spoken so directly as prime minister, but there are echoes of what has gone before. Tony Blair edged away from multiculturalism in the years after the 7/7 bombings in London, and his ministers moved to stop funding any community organisation that did not challenge extremism. And what of Gordon Brown's continual quest to strengthen "Britishness"?

Behind the scenes, ministers are reviewing the "prevent" strategy, the policies designed to try to deal with extremism. But the review, which had been planned for publication this month, is likely to be delayed. It is not clear yet how Mr Cameron will translate his strong words into action.
Human rights
"Let's properly judge these organisations: Do they believe in universal human rights - including for women and people of other faiths? Do they believe in equality of all before the law? Do they believe in democracy and the right of people to elect their own government? Do they encourage integration or separatism?

"These are the sorts of questions we need to ask. Fail these tests and the presumption should be not to engage with organisations," he added.

The Labour MP for Luton South, Gavin Shuker, asked if it was wise for Mr Cameron to make the speech on the same day the English Defence League staged a major protest in his constituency.

There was further criticism from Labour's Sadiq Khan whose comments made in a Daily Mirror article sparked a row.

The shadow justice secretary was reported as saying Mr Cameron was "writing propaganda material for the EDL".

Conservative Party chairman Baroness Warsi hit back, saying that "to smear the prime minister as a right wing extremist is outrageous and irresponsible". She called on Labour leader Ed Miliband to disown the remarks.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Council of Britain's assistant secretary general, Dr Faisal Hanjra, described Mr Cameron's speech as "disappointing".
He told Radio 4's Today programme: "We were hoping that with a new government, with a new coalition that there'd be a change in emphasis in terms of counter-terrorism and dealing with the problem at hand.

"In terms of the approach to tackling terrorism though it doesn't seem to be particularly new.

"Again it just seems the Muslim community is very much in the spotlight, being treated as part of the problem as opposed to part of the solution."

In the speech, Mr Cameron drew a clear distinction between Islam the religion and what he described as "Islamist extremism" - a political ideology he said attracted people who feel "rootless" within their own countries.

"We need to be clear: Islamist extremism and Islam are not the same thing," he said.

The government is currently reviewing its policy to prevent violent extremism, known as Prevent, which is a key part of its wider counter-terrorism strategy.

Inayat Bunglawala from Muslims4Uk says Mr Cameron is "firing at the wrong target"
A genuinely liberal country "believes in certain values and actively promotes them", Mr Cameron said.

"Freedom of speech. Freedom of worship. Democracy. The rule of law. Equal rights, regardless of race, sex or sexuality.

"It says to its citizens: This is what defines us as a society. To belong here is to believe these things."

He said under the "doctrine of state multiculturalism", different cultures have been encouraged to live separate lives.

'I am a Londoner too'

"We have failed to provide a vision of society to which they feel they want to belong. We have even tolerated these segregated communities behaving in ways that run counter to our values."

Building a stronger sense of national and local identity holds "the key to achieving true cohesion" by allowing people to say "I am a Muslim, I am a Hindu, I am a Christian, but I am a Londoner... too", he said.

Security minister Baroness Neville-Jones said when Mr Cameron expressed his opposition to extremism, he meant all forms, not just Islamist extremism.

"There's a widespread feeling in the country that we're less united behind values than we need to be," she told Today.

"There are things the government can do to give a lead and encourage participation in society, including all minorities."

But the Islamic Society of Britain's Ajmal Masroor said the prime minister did not appreciate the nature of the problem.

"I think he's confusing a couple of issues: national identity and multiculturalism along with extremism are not connected. Extremism comes about as a result of several other factors," he told BBC Radio 5 live.

Former home secretary David Blunkett said while it was right the government promoted national identity, it had undermined its own policy by threatening to withdraw citizenship lessons from schools.

He accused Education Secretary Michael Gove of threatening to remove the subject from the national curriculum of secondary schools in England at a time "we've never needed it more".

"It's time the right hand knew what the far-right hand is doing," he said.

"In fact, it's time that the government were able to articulate one policy without immediately undermining it with another."

first, rishtey mein Indian Freedom Fighters were Grand Fathers of you all :agree:. they knew what will finally happen once India gets freedom. today, India has over 350mil middle class, more than total population of India in 1947, whose per capita income on PPP is similar to Very High HDI countries like Argentina, Poland, Malaysia then its because you got freedom in 1947. the day Mr Gandhi and his men equalized donkeys and horses, this day was set to come.:pop:

British first took out whatever wealth they could get from India, and then they started taking out Indian top skills to run their industries located in Britain and sell those British products in India itself to feed British workers to establish a flow of money from India to Britain, and also they took Indian brave people to fight for them in return of giving security to their personal life/ to their families. and at the same time they had many Thakurs, Jamindars, regional Kings/ Nawabs who used to take out blood of Indian poor and give it to British rule as taxes. see this madarchod Thakur (shammi kapoor) as below and see kaise iski phatati hai, when India got freedom in 1947, in between 2.40min to 5.0 min as below :meeting::

Today I read a news that Ms Mayawati wants to make few changes in the constituency of India for good of SC/ St and I then I thought how time has changed since 1947 till now. Freedom of India had a certain meaning for the common people of India. It was about the equal opportunity to grow in life and removing dominance of those who want to remain on top without any credibility. When India got freedom in 1947, the very first job was to break down chain of those people who used to work for British government, to help British Rule maintain a flow of money form India, they used to do by using Jamindars/ political people etc so the very first thing men of Mr Gandhi did that they made a law that those poor farmers who work on the small farms were then given honor ship of the lands they did farming for 100s of years and few the Jamindars/ regional kings/ Nawabs etc who used to then transfer it as taxes to British Rule. Like how that Jamindar (Shammi Kapoor) of that movie got worried when he lost his lands to the common people similar to other regional Nawabs/ Kings/ Jamindars. Similarly Mr Gandhi favored renewal of home industries and boycotted the British products.

And then the next duty was to give rights to those who were neglected in society due to different wrong traditions. And then it was argued, if Mr Gandhi was deserved to said to be the father of nation then Mr Ambedkar was known as father of Dalits. So Mr Ambedkar was given to write down destiny (constitution) of India. Whatever he may write, will be the constituency of India, Mr Gandhi strongly favored it. And now, after 65 years, we have our new leader of Dalits, Ms Mayawati, who is known as the true leader of Dalits in India. And now it is argued that reservation in promotions is also required as no matter how many engineers, doctors, IAS and IPS of SC/ ST community we have, they can’t have fair share in the rule of India until we make sure that they would get equal share in top positions by giving them promotions also.

We can’t expect a single man, Mr Ambedkar to have thought how time would have changed after 65 years and making few changes in the constituency is now a need of time. Ms Mayawati is absolutely right to say that SC/ST would get same percentage on the top posts like IG, DIG, top secretary, high post surgeon/ high post engineers as they have reservation in entry. It must be ensured that SC/ST would get a fair share in the top positions by promotions also. and if governments of India have made few changes in the constituency before also then why can’t they do right now also? there can’t be a true competition between those forward casts with Dalits who have strong back up due to their background but Dalits don’t have the same because of wrong past and it must be ensured that they would get a fair share in the Rule of India, in the top positions, and hence certain reservations in promotions would be provided to SC/ST to achieve this.

On the other hand, Mayawati, while raising a question in Rajya Sabha asked the government to bring in a constitutional amendment during the current session of the Parliament to make the SC ruling ineffective. She also argued to put the amendment under schedule 9 of the constitution, which protects the laws that are otherwise contrary to the constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights. She also appealed to other political parties to support the cause.

We read too many things in books of primary schools but forget all till the age of even 20 also. How cruel those Jamindars, regional Kings/ Nawabs used to be while taking taxes (Lagaan) from the common poor of India and give it to their British lords/ British rule can be seen from one of the most popular Indian movie, LAGAAN, which was also nominated for Oscar.

See this movie in between 4.20min to 6.20min to have an idea of how British ruled India.

And double Lagaan (tax) charged to poor farmers if one of those madarchod regional hindu king doesn’t eat meat in between 20.30min to 22.30min.

what consequence the happens to common poor for paying Lagaan (tax) to Britain during the time of 'poor rain', in between 30.20min to 32.35min :hitwall:

and see how men of ‘British Queen’ got worried if they could lose tax (Lagaan) for even one year also for few villages, in between 1:19:40 to 1:21:30

in between 30.20min to 32.35min, we find Amir Khan asking from Justice at the end, but In fact, there were few losses and benefits both of British Rule as below:

Losses due to British Raj in India

Before the British came, India was one of the richest countries in the world. In 1800, India, China and Egypt (and probably many of the kingdoms of central Africa) were economically more developed than Britain. Indeed the British had nothing for sale that was of interest to the Indians or Chinese. When the British left in 1947, India was poor and industrially backward.
Britain did bring free trade to India and China. Britain had extracted large surpluses from India, and forced it into a free-trade pattern, which obliged India to export commodities and become a dumping ground for British manufactures. Historians estimate that the net transfer of capital from India to Britain averaged 1.5 percent of GNP in the late nineteenth century. The wealth transfer was financed by a persistent trade surplus of India, which was sent back to Britain or spend to expand the British Empire. India’s export-import ratio was 172.5 percent in 1840-69, 148 percent in 1870-1912, and 133.4 percent in 1913-38. This export orientation was a tool of colonial exploitation, and free trade a British ploy to force its manufactures on India and crush domestic industry

Benefits of the British Rule in India
Benefits of British Raj in India

The annual death rate in India before 1920 was about 4.8% but this declined to 3.5% by 1947 and is presently about 0.9%( India - Population). Using a baseline “expected” annual death rate value of 1.0% and assuming an “actual” pre-1920 value of 4.8% one can estimated that the avoidable (excess) mortality was about 0.6 billion during 1757-1837, 0.5 billion during 1837-1901 and 0.4 billion during 1901-1947. Thus the British rule of India was associated with an excess (i.e. avoidable) mortality totaling 1.5 billion – surely one of the greatest crimes in all of human history.

Benefits of the British Rule in India

Indian government would in fact learn from the lessons they got from British Rule which has solved many key problems like population growth with which India is struggling right now. Even if British rule made many consequences on the Indian poor and they had to pay taxes, Lagaan, out of their earning from the farms they used to work, but they in fact didn’t have to worry from decline water level of India due to its over population as below. they just had to worry for the food which the Indian Jamindars/ regional Kings/ Nawabs used to take from poor Indian farmers to pay to British rule as taxes/ Lagaan, but there wasnt any water problem due to the population balance British Rule has established in India. the population which the Indian government cant control by itself and now Indian people may have to worry for water also? Therefore, now we hope population loss due to water shortage in India in future as we can't control Indian population by ourselves :hitwall:

NASA, National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s satellite imagery submitted a Report to the scientific paper US Based said that Level of Groundwater getting down every year.

Groundwater levels in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi are falling down one foot every year and this issue can lead to extensive socio-economic stresses for the region’s 114 million residents in North India.

The Images took from NASA’s Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE), a pair of satellites that sense changes in Earth’s gravity field and associated mass distribution, including water masses stored above or below the Earth’s surface.

International journal Nature Published a report in the paper saying 109 cubic km of groundwater has been lost in just six years (2002-08) and this could be the India’s largest surface reservoir Upper Wain Ganga and Doubled than the government’s estimation.

Report also says that from the August 2002 and October 2008, the region lost 109 cubic km of groundwater; almost triple the capacity of the largest man-made reservoir in the U.S, Lake Mead. This a serious issue which need to think more seriously as it could be the reason of collapse of agricultural output and severe shortages of potable water.

CIA people and foreign affairs of US/ UK/West have spent much on the Indian corrupt politicians/ diplomats for last over 5 years and we would give something real ‘hot’ to the visiting foreign secretary of US, Ms Hillary, to claim on the governance of India, I strongly believe :agree:. here, Indian government must prove whether they may stop Indian population or they will let India become a hell in future due to very high population, which will impose a serious consequences on rest of the world also, when the richer Indians will demand more in future which will then increase prices of raw materials and very high emission level from India? And if Indians can’t rule India properly, if Indians can’t defend themselves from the serious consequences of population growth then they would simply hand over Indian governance to foreign people, isnt it? If we cant make ourselves a good example then we wont become a bad example also? :undecided: I would just like to give a real ground to Ms Clinton to make a proper claim on the governance of India :agree:

But I personally believe, if India has to surrender itself to a foreign government then they would better hand over India to Russian rulers who have history to help India in tough time, as compare to giving Indian destiny to those British/ Western rulers who have history of looting this part of world. I strongly believe, even Chinese rulers won’t treat Indians as bad as the Western. Rest, its now on the Indians whether they may demonstrate that they may rule/ govern India by themselves, or, they would look for the best available rule from the foreign countries

A long time before, I was argued by my Norwegian flat mate while my stay in Bulga hostel in Sydney that, “India can be either on the high consuming side with less population or on the low consuming side (of food, energy, usual products etc). and if you want to be on the high consuming side but living in a country of bad governance then you can only do one thing, that is, take whatever you can from India and run from there." and here, if we have a look on the green house emission levels of the countries, it is foolish to accept Indians with the emission level of Western nations. Total population of US is 310mil, of whole EU is 450mil and even if we consider the whole OECD countries also, their total population wont be more than 1.2bil. and we find average emission level of 1.2bil+ Indian nationals is 1.8 tons per person while to that of OECD countries, it would be around 16.0 tons per person on average. And its true that world will not accept 1.2bil+ people of India with the green house/ carbon emission level similar to OECD countries when Indians will also have ACs in every home after 20-22 years from now . And the way raw material/mineral consumptions in India/ China is being increased with high rate, the whole world will suffer if they will have to pay 5-6 times of its price due to increased demands in India in future. Indian government would either let Ms H Clinton get to know that they may Govern their country by themselves and reduce population of India, or, they would tell her that soon they may surrender governance of India to a foreign government. Indian rulers know why she is visiting India right now and they would confirm her whether they may rule/ defend India by themselves or not. Its about defending India from the external threats and also from the internal threats due to increase of population, both :pop:

Rigth now Britain has become home of the most wanted criminals of non-NATO countries. And British parliament want someone who may lead these ‘loyals’ of Britain. And in return, they may offer even their women to him also :agree:. right now only hope of British rulers is those criminals who have committed different crimes somewhere in different parts of the world and can be of any use for Britain in return to be defended in Britain or in their colonies like Australia/Canada. Britain is high ranked among the falling PIIGGS economies and anyone who may help their people maintain continuos food supply in future, in return British ruler may offer anything to him. But there is a difference between criminals and a high qualified person, a criminal behaves like that but a high qualified person has a certain characteristic, a belief in laws and then rise in life this way, and this type of highly qualified person would never accept a wrong path . If they want to get wrong works done then they need a wrong man, otherwise a man who can rise in his life on the right path will always try to run from wrong techniques........

British/ AUstralian MPs have too many women like this as below, but they want only criminals who may do their work in return of their women like as below. And a criminal mean for that, a person of a certain characteristic, the character which is lacked in a highly qualified person. British rulers just cant get their all the works done by using money and their women

It will be discussed some other time how Britain became rich but few ‘bottom line’ facts we have as below: :pop:

=> first get to know where Britain stood till 15th century as below:

=> where India stood till 18th century as below: :pop:

(it is the government website of India.)

the ranking India maintained from the 1st to 18th century as below :smokin::

=> and, we have a response from Mr Gandhi to British rule as below:

(It is the government website of India)

In fact Mr Gandhi didn’t want India to follow British laws also . As below:

=> and after freedom in 1947, now total number of Indian middle class whose per capita income on PPP is more than $15,000 is over 350mil, more than total population of India in 1947. it is similar to the countries like Argentina, Poland, Malaysia of Very High HDI

Now Labor party of Britain is again worried for the salaries of British workers, to keep feeding them

British and British origins living in the countries like US/ Australia/ Canada are threatened with the lifestyle they had till 16th century and they are scared that soon India may reach its status it had till the 18th century. and now they can offer you even position of British PM or women of British Royal family also, if they may secure continuous food supply for their people in future this way. British economy is just not good enough that British rulers may now predict future of their people. women of British rulers aren't worth more than 70-80 pounds now. now if Britain is categorized as pigs economy, among PIIGGS, then they have got 'correct' place.

But they forgot, no matter how long pigs try to behave like Lions, pigs will always be pigs and right now they have reached their true status. soon they will reach their status they had till 16th century. Mr David Cameron and those of British Royal family have become pigs with ever criterion.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Many times I tried to pass a message, that, “power exercise on a single man is a sign of weakness of organizing nations and the continuous misuse of government resources to give me personal losses are sign of their failures with me.” And by doing power exercise on a single man, pigs were behaving like lions for over 5-6 years and now they have seen their true status right now. Efforts of organizing nations for so long is, now Daughter is Law of British Queen is dancing as a prostitute on the world platform and Mr Jesus Christ has been defined as one of the generation of Casual sex from this type of prostitute type women like Catherine, who had changed with 10s before marrying William. British rulers are now true pigs with every criterion :usflag:

and from my side, I may tell to Mr David Cameron that Pigs are certain type of people who deserve certain treatments and only after this type of treatments, they may help themselves making difference between right and wrong. And until they don’t get this type of treatments, they forget they are originally pigs, like how they were till 16th century, and will always remain pigs, even if they thought themselves like lions for 1-2 centuries in 19th and 20th.

Indians account for 22% of Britain’s ultra-rich club

Indians account for 22% of Britain

Super-rich Indians account for more than 20% of the wealth of ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals in Britain, a new list showed on Tuesday. As a national group, they are second only to expat Russians.

The list, published by the Singapore-based Wealth-X group, places steel magnate and ArcelorMittal chairman Lakshmi Mittal at second place with a fortune of $15.8 billion. Mittal was pushed to the second spot this year by Russian Alisher Burkhanovich Usmanov, who is part owner of the English football club Arsenal and is worth $16.4 billion.

“Mittal has seen his net worth estimate decline along with the stock price of ArcelorMittal, losing at least $30 billion in recent years,” the report said.

The two other Indians on the top 15 list are the Hinduja brothers — Srichand at number 9 with a net worth of $7.6 billion and Gopichand at 12th with $6 billion.

Taken together, the wealth of the three Indian-origin industrialists makes up 22% of the top 15 total of $133.3 billion.

Apart from Usmanov, the two other Russians in the list include Roman Abramovich (at number 3, $12.1 billion) and Leonard Blavatnik (Number 5, $9.5 billion).

According to Wealth-X estimates, there are 10,760 individuals residents in Britain worth $30 million or more, with at least 310 new individuals joining the ranks of the ultra wealthy. On an average, Britain has added one UHNW individual every day since 2011. The combined wealth of the UHNW in Britain stands at an estimated $1.3 trillion.

“The wealth composition of the United Kingdom, London in particular, is diverse,” said David Lincoln, Director of Research at Wealth-X. “This is reflected in our data showing that 31% of the UHNW population in the United Kingdom is considered non-domiciled, with non-resident Indians and West AsianUHNWIs making up a significant proportion of these.”

prostitution is illegal in India but the Western Born people like Sunny Leone may come to India now. so I think, British would now start sending their women to india, (who usually change with many like Catherine who already had many in past), in the same way as Sunny Leone. the british women who may first earn little bit like Sunny Leone to help the falling British economy. and at the same time, when one of their prostitute type women get pregnant, then British would make that kid the future British Prime Minister
