Financial irregularities of Rs 50 billion detected in PAF

IK should highlight this as well, as he is a champ of exposing corruption nowadays

On a serious note, had this be a civilized country, the ones responsible would have been sacked, but since generals are holy cows, so they cannot be touched.... what an irony for the country..... har koi hamam mae nanga hai....

Oh stop it @Oscar and @root corruption (no matter which shit does it) is a disease equal to or even far worse than alcoholism ...Its a drug that is disgusting no matter who does the country pays!

Equal fingers should point and screw all sectors be it govt or the defence or even the other depts...

Apparently even things which we insult dogs and donkeys with (Zardari or Gillani or even the ex CJ) have also turned to holy cows and are untouchables!

This is huge.

All we need now is for fanboys to calculate how many F-22 aircraft we could have got for that money. Or how many joy rides on F-22s you can give to the starving poor in Pakistan.

@root@oscar every one pretends to be angel in Pakistan but Pakistan army has some worst cases in it and remember if a person can be corrupt he can be a traitor and story of kickbacks is common as wheat in army.

Government is corrupt so what is wrong when PAF is doing corruption first they should end their corruption then point fingers to others.

This has to be the smartest statement of the day. And the writer of this statement should be ashamed of himself. On one hand, you guys on here go all out supporting your military's character and strength and honor. But, you bash all politicians due to corruption and money related misuse. But when you see the military-men want to make money through corruption, you support it by again, putting the blame back to the civilian government. How cool is that???? If civilians do corruption, the blame goes to the civilians. When the military does it, the blame still goes to the civilian leadership!!! Gotta love the irresponsible nature of affairs here

Military in most of the nations has share of corruption.

well the truth has finally come out our beloved and highly overrated PAF has also shown its real face. army is corrupt to the core so I guess other services are trying to catch up. Great going,

So essentially what you are saying is that if the civilian government that a practice of raping 20 girls a day then it is justified for the military to rape 5 a day just because the civilian government does so?

Stop discriminating. This is random as STATE represents Citizens

If you people actually knew how these people snatch land from civilians for personal and "official" use, you'd go after them with pitch forks.

How is this discrimination? Are you suggesting that the PAF being an arm of the state with gangrene should not be treated because other areas have more serious issues and hence this arm should be left to rot till amputation or worse?

But you tell me which department of Pakistan is corruption free? All department are doing corruption you cannot change the whole system easily.

Blame should not be shifted and should be associated to the one who has done wrong.

There was an international study in the late 80s or early 90s, which gave a list of the richest serving and retired military personnel.

Air Chief Marshal (Retd.) Anwar Shamim was 2nd from the top in that list and was cited to have been even owning a plantation in Australia.

Corruption in many forms have been rampant in all the branches of the armed forces, in varying degrees over the years. But what cannot be ascertained beyond doubt is that this corruption has been at the institutional level or at a personal/group level and at random.
