Finally, country gets first made-in-India note

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India has released a new Rs 100 denomination banknote in the Mahatma Gandhi series with a Swachh Bharat logo in lavender colour. This is the first note made of entirely domestic materials.

“This note is designed in India, printed on currency paper made in India. The ink is made in India and even the security features have been made by Indian companies. This is a dream come true,” said Kaza Sudhakar, who recently retired as managing director of Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (BRBNM), which prints banknotes.

The new Rs 100 note was designed in the BRBNM Design Studio in Mysore, Sudhakar added.

The new note will have a different dimension from the existing Rs 100 note, which means that it will not be available in ATMs until the machines are recalibrated.

The new banknote, bearing the signature of RBI governor Urjit R Patel, has a motif of Gujarat’s ‘Rani Ki Vav’ on the reverse, depicting the country’s cultural heritage.

The base colour of the note is lavender and it contains other designs and geometric patterns, aligning with the overall colour scheme, both on the obverse and reverse.

According to Sudhakar, this is a routine introduction of a new currency note and the old design notes will be phased out over a period of time

If India is chest thumping occasionally because it has a every reason to do so....Now we reached/about to reach 5th largest economy in 2018,2nd largest steel,coal,cement producers,largest oil refinery in the world,largest remittance figure,forex reserve above 400 billion dollar,One of the biggest IT and pharma industry in the world,3rd largest electricity producer and oil consumer,4.25 trillion dollar market cap stock exchanges,3rd largest number of billionaires,2nd largest film industry,1st country send Mars probe successfully in 1st attempt,largest gold consumer,largest Milk,cattle stock and many agricultural products,5th largest auto industry overtaking Korea,growing >7% every year,world class education institutes like IIT,2nd largest metro rail under construction in cities in the world and list goes on....

All the things you are quoting is just because you have more than 1.3 billion people so obviously you would have a big economy but GDP is not the true measure of how well a country is doing. Per capita income is one of the more reasonable measure still not accurate cause of price difference in countries but per capita income in Pakistan is pretty close to India and if you have more billionaires that means few people have all the money which can be clearly seen on the streets of India.
If you don't have an idea India also has largest number of homeless people, toiletless people, underfed people and if you would believe a report which came out today India has over 18 million people in slavery.
So all these figures you quote of big this big that they go both ways.

If you don't know what more billionaires means let me elaborate for your vedic mind.
More billionaires means distribution of wealth is on such a vast scale that in Mumbai one guy builds a house worth more than a billion dollar(Ambani) and in that same city more than half the population lives in slums and don't have enough money to feed themselves and their kids.
I don't know how you came on this number "10,20,75" maybe some thousand year old calculator, but let me tell you standard of life in Pakistan by every measure is way better than India as any person who has visited both countries always says that. I know it's not good and Pakistan needs to improve in every sector of life.
The hospital thing you're taking about is not some blessing India gives to our people Pakistani who usually go there pay huge sum of money and they do that because the treatment is available in Pakistan but it's more expensive and any person who has more money would choose any country but India.
The dam fund our court has created is not asking for money from foreign countries, they are asking their own people so none of your business.
Before I leave you to your fantasy world let me ask, how many of the billions do you have?
