He's a really smart politician, his plan of maligning and undermining the protests and investigations has failed so now I'm expecting he'll start focusing on distorting the ECP and Tribunal investigations. Not sure how it will be done as Noora will control all stakes as he did last time since his party was in power in Punjab. Now he is sitting in both Centre and Punjab and I have got no idea what he will do this time, despite all these 'Go Nawaz Go' slogans.
The situation now is that all the other political parties which were supporting PMLN are now on a run for their own asses, PPP being the prime example. They had many internal issues and they're now trying to keep their options open in case there really are mid-term elections. They fear that PMLN might not be able to complete their term and give PPP the next turn. So, bad for PMLN, their plans are backfiring
Even then, I don't see elections happening or NS resigning unless some new party jumps in or there is a major development. Of course, PMLN's main objective now is to prevent that from happening. They're going to try to keep everyone happy and that might end up being their downfall.
Even if there are elections, Nawaz Sharif will try to lay the foundations for himself to either win them or get them boycotted. He won't give up easily.
Go Nawaz Go slogans don't affect him, he's too shameless for that. Let's see what happens
