Aren't convicts too allowed in FFL? Not a good move putting mercenaries on, especially those who take in criminals given that France has been accused of rape and molesting in the region.

Wonder how will France react of someone sends soldier to their country for patrolling

In late 2012, President François Bozizé requested international aid from France and the USA to fend off the Séléka.
In October 2013, fighting broke out between Séléka elements and Christian self-defence militias called anti-balakas, and the State lost its ability to maintain order.

The United Nations and the French government started voicing concerns of potential genocide.
On 5 December 2013, Resolution 2127 was unanimously voted by the United Nations Security Council to allow an African-led International Support Mission to the Central African Republic (MISCA) to be deployed for a 12-month duration to restore order and end religious tensions. The MISCA is supported by French forces authorised to use any necessary means.

They aren't commandos.

While this was true in the past and many criminals and outlaws join the Legion during the its early days, today you cannot simply just go to a Legion headquarters and sign up to become a Legion. First of all they do a background check-You need to show records of your identity and history such as degrees, social security, etc.If you have any felonies such as murder in your record you are already unacceptable in the Legion.Secondly for those who passed the background check, they have to pass a psychological test that determines if they have the potential to bear the brutalities of Legionnaire training or if they will breakdown easily.

Also for the "rapes" it's just allegations and accusations.

I don't know why the countries of the west like to interfere in other countries, especially poorer ones.

Why should haters hate? If this is in referance to Pakistan we certainly don't care if the entire French Army is deployed in Africa. Nothing to do with us.

Yes, possibly we might have some feelings about North Africa because they are Muslims but Sub Sahara Africa go aheas sir, just watch out for Ebola though. If you annex all of Sub Sahara Africa we will sing "Viva le France"

Although not sure how the Chinese might feel about that !

Ps. FFL certainly looks impressive.

You should be happy recently our troops gave support to yours, otherwise you would hear "Pakistani soldiers killed in CAR",so be thankful you want.
I don't give a damn about what African countries do,that's their business,if they want to deal with Mongolia or whatever that's their problem.

Yes, we are happy that France helped our men and appreciate the support extended. I have nothing against France. I was saying that we do'nt care about Sub Sahara. It has nothing to do with us. So certainly we will not hate FFL for going to Africa.

I went on holiday many years ago to Paris and indeed it is a fantastic city. Peace !

Ps. I am against our army being sent to Africa because it is non of our business. All it does it increases the possibility of picking Ebola or some other diseases that we ( unlike you ) would struggle to control back in Pakistan. Last thing we need is Ebola outbreak or stupid STDs.

I still remember back in 1993 when our peacekeepers were in Somalia and got attacked by Somali groups. We lost so many men when it was not even our fight. The American;'s even made a movei, Black Hawk Down. It was our guy's who helped to save the US Rangers and the final refuge was the Pakistan base in a football stadium.

I believes the French Mission in CAR is under UN jurisdiction, if I remember correctly, UN have a mission in CAR a few years back
