On a different note I am so surprised there are so many Pakistani dog lovers [in my books any human who loves animals are good humans]. I thought in Islam you are not supposed to keep dogs. Guess I was ignorant, I apologize.

Ya, ... she was daddy's girl. Thanks for the kind words buddy. Just buried her outside in my backyard and coming back and seeing all her toys and what not all over my living room is just surreal.

Go to a pet shelter - serve those animals for some time - it will lessen the pain. Thats what I did. I found my dog there too after an year.

Few years back I had a little cat, he was so adorable but unfortunately he died.

My German shepherd of near 17 years passed away on Thursday morning around 4 am.

He was so beautiful and gentle it hurts to see the place next to the stairs where he used to sleep.

I spent Thursday digging a hole through hard clay soil and rain for his final sleep.

Get a new dog soon

I'm very sorry to hear this. I had a basset hound for 13 years who passed away. I was depressed for several months after that. I still have his ashes. Try to stay strong.

I had to leave my dog when I came to UK. I miss my dog too especially when remembering how she spent her last few days with us even though she is happy in her new home.
