I understand where you coming from, however no where in the world are dual nationals allowed to contest elections. If you are a dual national wanting to participate in local politics then best to withdraw the citizenship of the other country.

I give you hard to miss example. Arnold Schwarzenegger was Governor of California while being citizen of Austria.

Sajid Tarar is serving in white house (you can consider him special assistant to president) and involved in white house meetings while being a dual national. No one here accuses him of being a spy of Pakistan.

Pakistan has had alot more dual nationals than that and I can give you examples of Australia and New Zealand where dual-nationals are not allowed to be any legislative houses. What i don't understand is, why keep your dual-nationality when running for a public office.

I reckon an advisor to the PM can be a dual national, however i do not agree on a dual national running for any legislative assemblies.

As of my knowledge, one can contest for Election with dual nationality.

I feel these native Pakistanis are thankless bunch. Over past 40 years, overseas/dual National Pakistani have saved the country from bankruptcy through their foreign remittances. For past 40 years Pakistani treasury only had few weeks worth of foreign reserves. It is only due remittances of Pakistanis living abroad that Pakistan did not become bankrupt like Zimbabwe.

And when those Pakistanis living abroad wants to participate in the political process, they are told that they are not eligible to participate in elections.

And don't get me started on dual nationals being CIA & RAW agents. Native Pakistanis are pretty self sufficient in supporting RAW & CIA. Look at home grown movements of MQM, BLA and PTM which were all thrived without any dual national playing a part. And you have lost East Pakistan all by your own efforts without any dual national being part of it.

So now learn to show a little gratitude to the people who are putting $20 billion in Pakistani treasury every year so you can buy petroleum, auto mobiles and electricity.

Regardless how good you are in your feild, how sincere you are to Pakistan, if you got liabilities in foreign lands, be it financial or personal like family, kids etc, by default you become liability to the state of Pakistan. Will always be blackmailed by the deep states of foreign nations where your assets or family is based, its given . Decision cannot be taken on what is best for Pakistan and will always be compromised.

Decision making should only be the domain of those who live in Pakistan and have got zero liabilities outside the borders of Pakistan.

Most arrogant people I swear are the fcuking native Pakistanis but if gora arrives at the airport then you treat them like your master.
If Pakistani comes to the UK we give them respect and fight and protect them. but if oversea pak arrives at pak natives rob them, threaten them, set them up you name it yes land grabbing.
