PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Central Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rahman blamed the PTI government for conspiring against the democratic set up of the country and wanting to topple the PML-N government via military dictatorship. "If Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf can shut down Islamabad, JUI-F can also shut down the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," he remarked this while addressing a mammoth public gathering in Baghi Nararan Peshawar on Wednesday.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman added that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief is talking about Nawaz Sharif in Panama leaks while turning a blind eye to Khyber leaks when their coalition partners were caught red handed in Khyber bank corruption. He said that when Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Ehtisab commission started anti government campaigns for their alleged involvement in corruption, Tehreek-e-Insaf government clipped its wings and made amendments to make it powerless.
He went on to say that the financial position of the province was worsening with each passing day and that was the reason that they took $ 700 million loans to meet their current expenditures. "The developmental work of the province is at a standstill position, and there is no mega project for the uplift of the backward areas despite the tall claims of change," he said.
Regarding the upcoming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protest sit in, Jamiat Ulemai-e-Islam-F chief said that the case was under ruling in the Supreme Court and now Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf wanted to pressurize the court to deicide the case in their favour.
He blamed the PTI for implementing a western agenda and said that most of the NGOs relied on the PTI leadership to implement their agenda. He said that the Muslim Umaah was passing through a critical stage of its history as the western powers wanted to readjust the geographic boundaries of the Muslim countries. This was the time to thwart the international conspiracies and make the country a leading Islamic power.
He said that the unjustified attacks on Iraq, Afghanistan, Libiya and Syria were examples of international conspiracies against Muslim Ummah. He said that a committee in Britain has proved that Iraq attack was unjustified and caused huge material and human losses.
He said that PTI must abstain itself from any adventurism as the country would not bear any political instability due to poor security situation on the borders. He said that the country's economy was getting strong with each passing day due to national cohesion, but the PTI chief did not want the political parties to be united for better future of the country.
