I was a little skeptical when he was picked as Info Minister, but his one stance on banning advertisement money to these Media Mafias has won him my support. They keep talking about poor people day and night on these channels and then take Billions of Rupees of tax payers money for their support to the Government. This blackmailing should not work and Government should never ever give them money.
They like their Freedom of Expression so much, so they better earn it from now on.

Yes you are correct he has a long way to go on many issues.
They are trying to make a new consolidated regulatory authority for all kinds of media be it Print, Online or News Channels. If successful that will immensely help in curbing Fake News.
