What's new

FATF begins today review of move to put Pakistan on grey-list

. .
When Pak alignes itself with a self centred arrogant murderous invading nation as the US this is bound to happen. Time and time they will turn the gun on you!

.
Always something new isn't it. Can't they just leave Pakistan alone to develop their country. Constant drama all the f**king time.

What will it take for West to get off Pakistans back? Renouce Islam? Denuclearize? Balkanize? Never ending demands.

Pak needs to stand up for itself and do what is right for its nation such as sealing the border with AFG. AFG is a nation that is uncontrollable or governable.

That's all fair and well but Pakistan needs western trade just like every country but they are refusing to cohabitate with Pakistan.

.
Pakistan needs to develop effective foreign policy to overcome all such issues and be self sufficient state with exporting it's special/unique products to western countries

Good people, this is being both misunderstood
and overblown. In as short a sequence as possible :

Yes, the FATF can be seen as a western tool but ...

the hunt for the money allowing terrorism must proceed.

Pakistan has a corruption problem that by itself places it
in the cross-hairs of that money hunt.

When the corruption enriches a PM, it is bad because the
armed forces or the infrastructure, necessities were robbed.
But when corruption is so endemic as to flow in all directions,
some of it trickles to Talibans or others.

And then you can imagine that a Pakistan Army shaheed could
reach paradise by the action of a bullet that was purchased with
money shaved off an Army ( or subs ) contract to equip him for
ballistic protection and you've gone full vicious circle?

That's what - “jurisdictions with deficient anti-money laundering regimes” - means!

At some point, a red light does signal a trouble and correcting
one's ways beats a temper tantrum when results are needed?

Good day all, Tay.
P.S.
And if the govt ever wanted to fund LeT or anyone, a good Swiss
or American accountant hired off a big Western firm with a % cut
will shave and hide millions over 10% from the national books!

They should first look in US, West and allies capital, tell the world how ISIS emerged under their nose in Iraq, who was behind Mujahideen in Afghanistan in 80's and who wine and dined in white house with US presidents.. just 2 example, otherwise their glorious history is filled with interference and propping up proxies left and right wherever they go,

it got nothing to do with terrorism, its just witch hunting.. Their favourite guy in south asia was banned from entering US and western countries before election.. now they are giving him red carpet welcome, do you know his name?

on topic, if we don't respond to these provocations, they will continue to push us toward wall and we will end up as another sanctioned state..

funny how all robbers get together and decide who to punish for small thefts

.
Nah, this is not Modi but Trump's doing, Max!
In his new petty hatred of Pakistan, he's going
to push every button he finds save the nuke 1.

The best way to avoid a crisis is to get help from
trusted friends like China, promise a lot and fix
at least a little, maybe 50%. That alone will set
the bad status designation back a few years.

How many shades of grey are there?

Low standard is 21 ( and not 50 of course ).
Old LCD screens reached 256 shades late 20th c.
A medical image goes from 4k to neat 65k shades.

But the human eye sorts out fewer, 720 to around
900 so that if you have more than the 10 bits res.
of 1024, you're covered!

Oh wait! You weren't talking metaphorically, were you?

Yeah, no doubt on that part! So, if anything as I said
originally, Pakistan has to get better at hidden financing!

Twisted shade of grey unescapable corollary!

And read you later gang, Tay.
