Fasting hours around the world in Ramazan 2018

Do you have a room to rent for a month?
Here in my place its 20+ hours.

Go to the Middle East for a month... Working hours for Ramadan for most offices are 09:00 - 15:00 and the fasting time is short. Haha.

What happens if a Muslim lives so far north that the sun does not set in summer time (land of the midnight sun above Arctic circle etc) and Ramzan occurs in this period? Is there some allowance in a hadith etc for this?...person has to eat at some point.

If the total time adds up to 24 hours then he has to fast and the general rules apply to that person even if the night is very short. If he is unable to do this for medical reasons , fear of death or illness then he shouldn't fast but has to make up for those fasts in some other part of the year.
If the total time doesn't add up to 24 hours then he should follow the timings of the nearest country/place.

There's a hadith; Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told his companions about the Dajjaal (antichrist). He was asked how long he would stay on earth, and he said, “Forty days, one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week and the rest like your days.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allaah, the day which is like a year, will the prayers of one day be sufficient for us then?” He said, “No, estimate them.”
So the day which will be like a year is not regarded as one day in which only five prayers will be sufficient, rather we are obliged to offer five prayers in each twenty-four hour period. He commanded them to offer the prayers at intervals as on a regular day. Same rules apply for fasting.

Well, I wanted to spend the Holy month in Madina and I had booked the hotel for two (I have lot of friends there as well) but due to my better half's condition Dr. did not recommend her to travel.

oops, yes you are right, it is approx 16 hours , effect of fasting I guess.

Well i guess there are no proper travees over here. I go to a small make-shift mosque that does very brief travees. I doubt they will be able to complete the whole Quran.
