Fact Book of Azerbaijani Armed Forces

I thought it would be good to have a fact book and summary on Azerbaijani Armed Forces, equipments and strengths. These data are gathered to the best of my knowledge and they may be corrections needed, and some equipments will be definitely upgraded by time. Let me or the turkish mod, @Kaan , know about necessary changes, so we can fix them.

Thread is organized as follows: (You can click on each section to directly jump to the section you want)

A summary of Azerbaijani Tanks:

1) 100 T-90S tanks

ВЕДОМОСТИ - Россия вооружает Азербайджан
T-90 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the deal with Russia, there was an option to order 100 more T-90 tanks, in which it seems that this second batch would be delivered as well.
News.Az - 100 T-90S tanks to be delivered to Azerbaijan in early 2015

2) 400+ T-72 Tanks
9a52a3669a3cd392537582518a5dca82.jpg

Based on wikipedia, we have 542-636 T-72A, T-72B and T-72 Aslan tanks.
T-72 operators and variants - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Around 100 of T-72 tanks are upgraded to the Aslan Standard. It was done by a 54 million dollar contract with Elbit.
In fact, Azerbaijan received about 300 T-72 tanks after collapse of Soviet Union. 153 T-72s were bought from Belarus in two separate deals, 62 T-72s were bought from Russia, and 48 T-72s were bought from Ukraine.
During Karabagh war, 178 T-72s lost and 23 T-72s captured. Overall the wikipedia’s statistics make sense if we exclude the tanks lost/captured during karabagh war.
Multiple countries including Russia, have proposed to upgrade the rest of T-72 fleet as well.

3) ~100 T-55 tanks, 150 units bought from Ukraine

4) There was some news about purchasing T-80U and T-84 by Azerbaijan, but, in fact, Azerbaijan purchased T-90S instead of these two Ukrainian made tanks.

5) It seems that Azerbaijan is interested in buying Altay tank from Turkey, after starting its mass production in Turkey.

Azerbaijan Air Defense and Radars

Azerbaijan Radar Station:
Gabala radar station, with a range of 6000 km, was located in Azerbaijan, and it was used after Azerbaijan independency. It was mostly rented to Russians. But, due to the announced health risks, it is shut down and instead, two Green pine radars have been purchased. Green Pine radars have a range of 500 km which is enough for Azerbaijan.

Technical data

Description
The versatility is achieved by using radar phased arrays the X-band and high automation of all processes for its functioning on the basis of modern high-speed digital management practices. Antenna RPN 30N6E2 may rise to a special mobile tower 40V6M.
Operation
The 30N6E2 Tomb Stone is an upgraded version of the 30N6, which is primarily designed to be used as an engagement radar and to track targets and guide missiles to impact using a command link channel.
Truck tractor
The 30N6E2 Tomb stone radar is mounted on the high mobility truck chassis 8x8 MAZ-7910 vehicle derived from the MAZ-543.
Combat use
During operation, Favorit's acquisition and illumination and guidance radar simultaneously scan the air space, detecting and identifying aerial targets. The simultaneous scanning of the air space by several radars completely denies targets any access to a protected zone, including ground-hugging cruise missiles flying at extremely low altitudes from any direction, even in conditions of intensive reflections from local objects and deployment of electronic countermeasures by the enemy.

Azerbaijan parades

These parades are usually held each 2 years on June 26th. Azerbaijan Army was first established on June 26th, 1918.
Below, is the video from the 2013 parade. I think it's professional. BTW, the parading site, is close to Sea, and Skyscrapers of Baku, and the scene behind the parade is also beautiful.
