It already happening. Just that too many still clinch onto the mentality of US white supremacy. They are already many sight of crumbling US manufacturing. Look at US Gerald ford CVN and USS Zumalt. Clear example of declining US technology and manufacturing.

The US is so worry about this new threat that they abandon their Zumalt class concept and go for a bigger AB class destroyer which they are working on to.match 055 destroyer. Not to mention US failed to solve a lot of technical issue for railgun for warship like miniature it to fit onboard warship, reliability and power usage. China even pull ahead and start sea trial already.

The next gen 096 SSN currently building are going to be all electric nuclear sub using shaftless design. Which US not even having a clue how to proceed to build it.

china surely has made lot on improvement and i am happy for china making progress but if we compare only the military tech then US is no doubt ahead of the rest of the world both in quality and quantity.
pak has been using military hardware from US, china and europe and even today you ask from any military man who operates that hardware he will say that the US equipment is far more reliable and efficient as compared to that from other countries. on paper you may find that hardware from other countries may appaear to be better then US equipment but in during actual war time the US equipment turns out to be more reliable in most of the cases. its another story that many countries like pak get to face US sanctions off and on and for them sometimes US hardware becomes a headache.
the recent aerial battle between india and pak highlighted the difference. the old US jets of 80s although upgraded totally out performed a much more modern russian made su 30 mki. on paper su mki beats the F-16s MLU in almost every aspect. the other difference exists in the maintenance of the equipment. the US hardware other then the very latest tech like the F22 and F35 need little time and resources for their maintenance .

That was a joke targeting PIA pilots and mind you, you are behaving like USAF pilots are some sort of super humans. Accidents do happen and where ever it happens loss of life by any means is not good at all.
