An escort doesn't neccesary has to be armed or have missiles totting from it, even when they are escorting an enemy aircraft out of the area.

Yup, exclusively designed to escort Indians to hell...so they wouldn't need a chitta.

While I understand in the case of the first picture you've shared, lets not forget that the second picture features an F-22 which has the ability to carry its armaments in an enclosed bay. Not to mention that it's more than just a "escort"... it's also an interception and I would highly doubt that F-22s would intercept Russian bears without munitions
