Excellent Interview to India TV

This man is very educated and could be an asset to the country if he leaves his party or reinvents it. The issue is his politics of sindhi vs the rest some places and other agendas are on one side, but some projects in Sindh are very remarkable. The issues are more to do with land reforms, that would settle so many problems in this country.
the summary of the interview is

  • He advised India and USA against dictating Pakistan
  • He defended Pakistan army, called it as his own army and justified its actions against Indian army along the LoC and international border
  • he eloquently differentiated between aid and Coalition support fund, explaining that payment for our support in War on Terror cant be confused with aid.
  • he also pointed out that a personal visit by Modi to Nawaz Sherif in Raiwand on a wedding had nothing to do with Pak India state relationships and he didnt follow it up with anything positive towards Pakistan.
  • he ignored Indian allegations about Pathankot or Hafiz Saeed & instead demanded that India must support Pakistan army in its fight against terrorism
  • and finally he said that policy matters and state relations are not discussed in public and conferences but behind closed doors.

I would vote Bilawal when his daddy is expired.
this might take a while and by then Bilawal might be not himself

So curtsey indian media ... Pakistani are seeing virtues in bilawal. Till now he was only mocked and ridiculed for not being macho and having bad urdu !! ☺
Kudos to Indian media where its due

He did it because he saw some gain in it, namely a better image. If they gave him $100 million, tell me, would he speak against Pakistan and the Army? Anyway, it is only an Indian news channel. We are not going to shine in the world by one interview on some Indian TV Channel. It's good for us, but not a huge deal. There is no need to sing Pangaeas in his name.
I am not singing any such thing. Members in the thread are either blindly supporting him or are bashing him bcz of tenure of zardari after 2013. I agree that their government was full of corruption and level of poverty really increased during that time but their foreign policy was much better than others who have spent almost ten,ten years. So if we can do some collbaration for our foreign ploicy that wouldn't be a bad idea.

This is their foreign policy (bold part is mine)

Fighting terrorism required political will, popular mobilization and a socio-economic strategy that won the hearts and minds of nations, he said, adding that unilateral actions of great Powers should not inflame passions of allies. Only a democratic Government could win this war. “Yes, this is our war, but we need international support -– moral, political and economic,” he said, asking the Assembly whether it would stand with his country.

By repeatedly focusing on terrorism in Pakistan, these people gave an image that terrorists live around every corner in Pakistan. In turn, they got money which is what they are after.

These people are not our friends, at all.

If Pakistan had uninterrupted civilian rule, we would be singing vanday matram in schools (Allah Forbid)
What a joke. Stupidity at its peak. Military dictators destroyed the country, entirely responsible for 1971 events.

We still say thar we are fighting against terrorism and don't forget that military dictators have taken a huge amount of aid during their times plus don't forget who started this talabanization in pakistan and in afghanistan.

An extremely dishonest representation of facts.

Don't point fingers at who started something. Things are started for a reason, but they need to be managed properly. Point fingers at the self centred and corrupt mafia who has been mismanaging the country since.

Lets agree to disagree on that. Some day when Pakistan will have strong civilian institutes, we ll know what exactly happened.

Till civilians stop dragging the army into every small thing nothing will change. The army has no desire to rule Pakistan or get even involved in civilian affairs. It's time for civilians to change. They don't know how to stand on their own two feet or rather they have no desire to.

The fact that they have no desire is evident from there 30 years of rule. Stop making people fool.
