There are mass shooting every single week in the US, and most people are afraid to get out after sunset, and there are places people wouldn't want go to or be instantly killed or robbed. A goal can be reached in many ways. Some of them are tough, want to become rich you can work harder in ethical ways and make money. A corrupt can also become rich but obviously wont have any pride or honor.

you want to build a highway you build it without spending years in getting land and environmental clearence and permissions etc.

Funny, a county has much bigger poverty and 1/3 of China's minimum wage call us slave wages.

On China's developed east coast, the white collar wages such as finance, programmers are almost the same at USA level. and we will get rid of absolute poverty soon.

To Indian, Chinese "slave wage" is something they desperately want to get to, but can't. That's why Indian take pride at not making "slave wages", majority of Indian don't make any wages. By the way, Indian average wage is 1/5 of Chinese wage, not 1/3.
