Same old...Same old...Uh, they pillaged resources from all of Asia and enslaved other Asians to build up most of their national infrastructure. Then they were given aid from the US program to build industry, to trade things for food and oil. I don't get your point?

You cannot 'steal' national resources like human capital, and if you want to talk about something renewable like rubber plantations, once the colonialists are ejected, the natives are fully responsible for their own well beings. The fact that you focused on the Japanese mean you missed the larger point. But if you want more examples, look at Africa. Stop blaming outsiders, for once.
