Populists in Europe have hit their ceiling (bar few countries). If Trump loses in the US, then populism will really take a huge hit across Western world.

UK’s brexit party victory was expected but put the same brexit party in G.E, and boy will they get decimated or what?

So populism is on the decline even in UK.

@waz @Nilgiri Honestly I am still surprised by Macron's party result after all yellow vests unrests and low popularity... lol.

The Republicans got wrecked while the Unbowed France's result was disappointing. The Greens came third which is a surprise but follows the green surge all over Europe.

Results in each of French departements and overseas territories. Yellow is Macron's party while blue is Marine Le Pen's.

Quite a surprise to see Bardella first in many of south-west France departements,which is basically a leftist stronghold...

It is because lot of ppl that dont like Macron now still vote for him to stick the finger to marine who they totally despise. So he still scrapes by on some level....turnout dynamics for EU elections I supposed are quite different to national ones for most if not all countries in EU.
