EU is utterly irrelevant for China. Better to have Russia on your side than EU. What does EU provide China?
Only a couple of high-end technologies which China will catch up in eventually. Russia provides energy, raw materials, agriculture, weapons, intelligence agency cooperation. EU doesn’t even have an independent foreign policy. Russia does.

If you gave me a choice on who I prefer to have in my corner, it would be Russia by a country mile.

China is not an immigration country with already very crowded population. There are many Pakistanis studying in China, more than any other country even your USA, and most of them will return to Pakistan later to develop their country, whats wrong with that ? its good for Pakistan.

True. That's what I've said all along. The funny, ridiculous thing is Europeans love to think they still matter, they're still the powers China fears, and they're still the nobles everyone looks up to for standards of actions. They want prestige, wealth, and fear from others but they are not willing to work for what they want. So they got on the American bus to get free rides. When the roads become bumpy and the bus breaks down often due to weights, the bus operator will need to kick these free riders off the bus. Some even got thrown under the bus. LOL.
