KASHMORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Saturday that there was no need for the authorities to put him on the Exit Control List (ECL) as he had already submitted his passport at the time of applying for bail.

"I have to be buried at the Garhi Khuda Baksh and give and I am answerable to Bhutto and Benazir after death," the Pakistan Peoples' Party co-chairperson said in a gathering at Kashmore.

"They just want to create drama but rest assured it won't affect the party's voter," adding, "we want you to stay but what else we can do if you are up to ending the political institutions. We are fighting for our people."

The former president said that in the country 71-year history establishment did not treat well people who worked for the national progress but it doesn't matter to him as he is not scared.

Zardari called his opponents 'deaf and dumb', adding that they toppled late Benazir Bhutto's government twice, martyred her but still couldn't stop her. "They weren't able to topple my government. I completed my five-year tenure. Worked for the poor, distributed provincial budget equally but those who are sitting away can't understand it."

The former president said that there will be a day when Sindh will have its own gas company like the province made its own coal company and made people of Pakistan as their partners.

"How can I make those people understand something who are up to ending political institutions. What can I do if you don't have any senses?," Zardari took a jibe without naming any political party or state institution.

The former president said that the federal board of revenue was stronger during his tenure.

Zardari is right again. Establishment failed to send Zardari / Nawaz corrupt mafia to jail back in the 90s. Instead establishment did an NRO with the same robbers and plunderers who once again came to power for further loot of national treasury.

Thanks to Mushi and Kiyani...

I disagree...it is more of an individual's act
Then establishment should not give all power to one individual in the first place. Why don't they ever learn from past mistakes starting from General Yayha to Zia to Musharraf and so on?

mofo has been caught red handed and now starts his usual bollox
What he actually means is that this time establishment is not giving him NRO like Musharraf did. This is all what crying and whining in Jalsas is all about.

The time has changed. People are much more politically aware and they do not hesitate to criticise establishment if it tries to do something fishy. Also, foreign powers have lost the influence which they used to have in the past especially during Mushy's time so that is why NS and Zardari have become orphans and they are begging for an NRO but no one is interested. Establishment has found the right combination of moving forward by keeping both the democracy and institution intact and at the same time both the govt and establishment are on the same page on all matters of national security and this is how it should be so now international players cannot pressure Pakistan certain point. Also now they need Pakistan's help to get them out of the mess in Afghanistan and thus you see that a lock on Trump's big mouth as well.

Someone should tell this Money Guzzler you're only answerable to Allah after death.
They are basically kafirs ... their beliefs have nothing to do with Islam. These are the libturds..

I was wondering what will happen if ik is not liked by the next chief their policies keep changing with the years first zardari and then nawaz and even if we deny it ,it is quite clear that ik is fully endorsed by the current cheif

Establishment is part of the problem and constant bottleneck in the genuine progress of Pakistan.

Nothing will happen because unlike those two IK has been elected by the people and not establishment and furthermore, he not corrupt so he has nothing to fear. Only a mindless and shameless patwari can compare IK with NS and Zardari.
IK is a patriotic person so is the army that is why they will always be on the same page.
