If Turkey wants to help Gaza, it is easy, just send a flotilla of boats ESCORTED by the Turkish Navy.
The Turkish Navy then makes guarantees that the flotilla cargo does not contain contraband.
Unlike the Ships to Gaza flotilla, Israel have no legal right to inspect.

The fact that Turkey have not followed this approach shows that Turkey does not put a lot of priority on the help.
Turkey is gonna build houses in Gaza, i'd spend the money on a border fence but thats just my opinion.

This is a stupid thread. We did help them, we helped them to wave their flag in the UN, we helped them to sound their problems louder, no other country helped them as much as Turkey. Why people keep thinking that helping Palestine is an obligation of Turkey? They are Arabs and Arabs ignored them, they are Muslims and no Muslim country helped them but Turkey, they are humans and where is your treehugger country swedie boy.? The most funny part is that the thread opened by an Iranian which his country didn't even lift his finger so far. Yes if we betrayed them for the Turkey's good, I am fine with that and everybody simply should STFU. This is none of your business.

urkey is passing humanitarian aid throught ashdod port, which they could've done years ago.
the problem is not with Israel. The deal has done and now two side knows what will happen.
This will increase Turkish soft power and this disturbs someones too much.

This will increase Israel's economic and political power too

False.Turkey used international laws on Israel and get the access. You cant get anything by using hard power against to Israel. You can get only isolation from whole western world.

I can't wait for the argument the idiot who opened this thread is going to make when he sees the hospitals, power plants and housing that will be constructed for Palestinians. Imbecile.

What I suggested is International Law.

If Turkey had escorted Ships to Gaza with their Navy, and made sure there were no contraband,
there would have been no Israel inspection (no need), noone killed, no international incident,
and the ships could have unloaded in Gaza, and not in Ashdod.

And BTW, I disagree that Turkey had betrayed Palestine.

why doesn't Turkey try to broker a peace deal between Israel and Palenstians

if I was a negotiator this would be my offer

-Israel stops it's settlement program
-U.S and international community gives Palestine $5 billion in aid a year to rebuild and modernize Gaza and the West bank
-for the next 10 years UN peacekeepers are stationed in Palestine and Israel to make sure each don't break the peace and uphold to the treaty, and make sure there is no underground tunnels are being built or weapons being stored.

this conflict benefits no way. no one is making money.

You're wrong, this conflict benefits more people than you can imagine. The Palestinian issue is a political football that leaders throughout the world have used for their own ends. To have it solved serves no one but the small Palestinian population.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan criticized Wednesday Turkish charity group IHH for undermining the reconciliation agreement with Israel, saying the deal is a good development for Palestinians and based upon the principle of mutual benefit.

Speaking late Wednesday during an iftar dinner at the presidential complex in Ankara, Erdoğan said the flotilla organizers did not ask for permission from him back when he was a prime minister before a diplomatic crisis erupted between Turkey and Israel.

On Monday, IHH, Humanitarian Relief Foundation, criticized the deal saying it amounted to acceptance of the Israeli blockade.

"We were already delivering the same amount of humanitarian aid to Gaza, but without making an appearance. Now we have Israel's promise, all aid supplies to Gaza will be permitted from now on," Erdoğan said.

The president said a ship carrying 11,000 tons of humanitarian aid is being readied to send from Turkey to Gaza this Friday and sending these relief supplies will be a routine afterwards.

Turkey and Israel reached an initial reconciliation agreement late Sunday. Diplomatic ties between the two countries were suspended after Israeli troops stormed a Gaza-bound aid ship in international waters in 2010, killing 10 Turkish activists.

Under the deal, Turkey will be able to send humanitarian aid to Gaza as well as carry out infrastructure projects including residential buildings and a 200-bed Turkish-Palestine Friendship Hospital.

The Mavi Marmara aid ship was among six civilian vessels trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza when they were boarded by Israeli commandos.

In the aftermath of the attack, Turkey demanded a formal apology from Israel, compensation for the families of those killed, and the lifting of Israel's Gaza blockade.

In 2013, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voiced regret for the attack.

On Monday, months of talks between the two countries finally bore fruit, with Turkey announcing that a deal would be signed normalizing relations with Israel.

Under the deal, in addition to agreeing to Turkey's humanitarian presence in Gaza, Israel will pay $20 million in compensation to the families of the Mavi Marmara victims.

Problem is that Hamas will make them command centres in the next war they start.

There is no viable Gaza as long as the terrorists run the show. Same as there is no Syria as long as ISIS exist.
