You probably confused him with an average American, 5? 6? 7? ... Most American families have at least four children. I am not talking about some poor, desperate women, who have many children, from different father's, still without a marriage and looking for another already. Poor children...

Well family planning is not allowed in Islam but some delay in child for health reasons can be done. But if a person is doing it because he fears How he or she is going to feed the child than that is shirk in Islam which is the biggest sin.

I also find it fuuny some Indians are critical of his words, talking about birth control when only Indian population almost equals to whole Muslim population on earth, especially when a huge chunk of their people can't find a proper restroom in India. That's what I am critical about.

His problem is different....for years he is saying 3 children for every family... But, things are not going the way he wants.

They banned abortion a few years ago. Now,they begin to say stupid stuff.... If they really want the fertility rate to go up, state should support mothers. Saying stupid stuff won't effect the rate.
