Erdogan Says Egypt Should Free Mursi Before it Can Restore Ties

Morsi is the true leader of Egypt. It's sad that Egyptians prefer sisi over morsi. I guarantee that in 5 years sisi will become another Mubarak, then everyone will regret their short sighted vision.
"True leader". Morsi was never a leader even the MB didn't think he was a leader he was their number 2 choice. Well egyptians prefer sisi for simple reasons while morsi lied and promised that he has a program put by 1000 expert's to solve all of egypt problems in 100 days which is crazy sisi is actually solving egypts problems he is not concentratin on one thing he is doing so many things at the sametime and the things that's supposed to take 3 years he ordered it to be done in one year (suez canal project) also the project that is supposed to take seven years he ordered it to be done in three years(new capital) think about the the military deals and the toys egypt bought in his one year of rule. Will he become another mubarak maybe bu it wouldn't be a problem because the people who removed the first mubarak and morsi can remove a second one.

.
In case you didn't know, Iran also has bad relations with Morsi,

really?? can you kindly post two news/analysis links on this??

We didn't interfere in Libya and we couldn't do even if we wanted, a country hundreds of miles away where no one likes us, we'd better stay out of it. You can blame Europe or Egypt, but not Iran.

i have posted analysis and news on this many times since i joined last year, including in a discussion involving you, i think.

Anyways, Gaddaffi was a true maniac

you just had to say that.

laughable, considering who the leaders of post-1979 iran have been.

I order them to do the suez canal project in 6 months... there. Did that make any difference? Remember his claim about the suez project, and then check back in one year, i am sure he will have some excuse why it isn't finished. "terrorist attacks, bad economy, blah blah"

95% of drilling and excavating has been completed.

Hasina and Khaleda of Bangladesh were also under "House arrest", guess what happened, both are now back on the political forefront.

Unless he isn't in a jail without luxury, he is quite safe enjoying his remaining days in comfort.

He can enjoy whatever he wants, the fact is he is irrelevant politically. The people who are relevant are his aides and his son Gamal Mubarak.

Oh I read it, the difference, you're taking things at face value. Nothing has changed, the proof I in the pudding. The fact he's under house arrest and not in jail? Evidence enough.

Convicted of embezzlement? Don't make me laugh. It's a slap on the wrist, nothing more.

Actually you're the one taking things at face value. If there was truly a state conspiracy to let him free then the General Prosecutor wouldn't have appealed the Criminal Courts decision to acquit Mubarak and the court of Cessation wouldn't have ordered a retrial.

Whether he is confined to his home, in a hospital, or in prison makes no real difference, he is still confined and unable to return to political life. He has become so insignificant that international media didn't even bother report that hes been put back on trial.

New capital axed.
1000000 housing units axed.

Sisi is a turd. Thats the reality.

Look at bassem yousef, he couldnt even continue his program in sisi rule and had to run for his life.

And Egyptians supporting al Sisi are no different than the Persians who support Assad, even al Sisi isnt ashamed of supporting al Assad.

Im a Saudi but im true to myself and admit that Saudi wronged a lot of people by supporting Sisi.

I'm glad to see a Saudi saying the truth as it is.

Sisi supporting assad ???????? What do you mean

Sisi supporting assad ???????? What do you mean
The Egyptian regime still consider Assad as legitemate, and see them as an integral part of any peaceful resolution, refuse to recognize the Syrian revolution, and still use the Syrian's regime flag in official conferences, and it even encourages pro-Assad rhetoric in Egyptian media.

Morsi did this:

That's the difference between Morsi the lion and Sisi the anti-Islamic turd:

sisi: "The dilemma between the former president and the people originated from the ideology that the Muslim Brotherhood adopted for building a country, which is based on restoring the Islamic religious empire."

Excerpts from Washington Post interview with Egyptian Gen. Abdel Fatah al-Sissi - The Washington Post

I don't know about that one are you sure do you have a source to back your claim
and see them as an integral part of any peaceful resolution
There are to sides in this conflict the regime and the rebels so if one wants it to be solved peacefully one must get these two sides to reconcile.
still use the Syrian's regime flag in official conferences
The flag is the internationaly recognised flag of syria this flag was there before pashar (it is the flag of syria not the flag of the regime ) and also for us egyptians we would prefer the current flag because it was the flag of United Arab Republic and I presume the two stars on the flag represent egypt and Syria

Morsi the Islamic lion yeah right
He went to Iran.

You forgot to address the freedoms and the censoring and closing of channels, electricity problems that got worse (biggest complaint against morsi) as if it wasnt privitized, levels of freedoms. Forget the Media crap, talk about the reality.

New capital axed

Housing Minister: Cooperation agreement on the new administrative city to be revealed in days.

Date: 09/05/2015

So not axed

وزير الإسكان: الإعلان عن عقد شراكة "العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة" خلال أيام |اليوم السابع

1000000 housing units axed

Nope. The agreement was delayed by six months as a result of disputes between the Egyptian government and Arabtec over land and the type of housing units built.

The contract was signed on the 2nd of April and construction of one hundred thousand housing units (initial phase) in Obour and Badr has started.

After year-long wait, Arabtec reaches deal with Egypt on mega-housing project | Mada Masr

not axed either

Sisi is a turd. Thats the reality.

Show me a politician or leader that isn't one. Turd or not he is popular and is making progress in both security and the economy.

Look at bassem yousef, he couldnt even continue his program in sisi rule and had to run for his life.

Morsi also tried to get him off the air but failed. The MB weren't experienced and were unable to exert pressure on private telecommunication companies, instead they tried to stop it via the courts which backfired.

I keep on saying that the difference between Elsisi and the MB is ability, not intentions.

And Egyptians supporting al Sisi are no different than the Persians who support Assad, even al Sisi isnt ashamed of supporting al Assad.

Elsisi does not support Alassad. There is a lot of confusion over Egypt's foreign policy towards Syria.

In a nutshell, the Egyptian policy is:-

- Only a political solution is acceptable
- Alassad is a vital part of the political solution
- Alassad is still a mass murderer and will eventually have to secede power
- No diplomatic relations at all with the regime
- No recognition of the FSA which isn't a united front, just a plethora of militias with different goals represented by exiles abroad who have no real say and do not truly represent the Syrian people or even the
militias
- Calls for counter terrorims operations across the region, not just a focus on Iraq and Syria

Wanting a poltical solution without including Assad is simply naive.

Im a Saudi but im true to myself and admit that Saudi wronged a lot of people by supporting Sisi.

The Saudi/Egyptian relationship has more depth than you think. Without gulf aid, Egypt's foreign currency reserves would have been at a dangerous level, foreign investment wouldn't have been willing to come to Egypt, and a less stable Egypt may have been a possibility. An unstable Egypt is both a security threat to the KSA and the region.

The above had nothing to do with Elsisi, gulf nations had donated over 10 Billion dollars during Morsi's term and had donated money to prop Egypt's economy up during the Supreme Military Councils term.

That's the difference between Morsi the lion and Sisi the anti-Islamic turd:

That's incredibly shallow. Elsisi is at the forefront of promoting 'moderate; Islam. He has pushed Alazhar to secure a greater role in schools, government, and in every day social life. He has called for a revolution in religious discourse in line with Alazhar and has not introduced any secular legislation.

Morsi was not a lion. He was an idiot, proof of that is his visit to Russia where he said that Egypt viewed the Syrian crisis in the same way Russia did!

Apart from wanting to involve Egypt politically and militarily in a cluster abroad, at home he was against the Armed Forces conducting wide scale operations in the Sinai. He got soldiers killed due to his negligence and negotiated with them when Egyptian conscripts were arrested. Sorry but he is no lion, not even a cat. Just a glorified third choice clerk following orders from the supreme guide. Hes a poor man who trusted his party more than he should have and they ultimately put a noose on his neck.

You forgot to address the freedoms and the censoring and closing of channels, electricity problems that got worse (biggest complaint against morsi) as if it wasnt privitized, levels of freedoms. Forget the Media crap, talk about the reality.

If you want to see the reality then visit Egypt. It may surprise you.

Who the hell even talked to this idiot about restoring ties in the first place? We have an Arab proverb that fits perfectly here:

"على بال مين ياللي بترقص بالعتمة"
Like a person showing off his dancing in the darkness, where nobody even knows he's there.
