For more than four years now Michael Maloney has been demonstrating to audiences around the world that every 30-40 years the world has an entirely new global monetary system, that the current monetary system (the U.S. dollar standard) is aging and becoming unstable, and, just like the previous monetary systems, will soon implode.

On June 1st, 2014, at the Cambridge House Investment Conference in Vancouver, Canada, he updated his "Death of the Dollar" presentation and showed how the "Nails in the Coffin of the Dollar Standard" are now coming faster and are more furious than ever before. He believes that there will be a global currency crisis before the end of this decade and that the days of the dollar standard are numbered.

In a second presentation on the same day he makes the most convincing argument yet that there is a massive deflation coming, that there will probably be an overnight devaluation of the dollar and huge overnight revaluation of gold, and, though it will be painful for most, it is the greatest opportunity in history for those who are prepared.

PS:Mike Maloney, author of the best selling book on investing in precious metals "Guide to Investing In Gold and Silver" and the host of the series "Hidden Secrets of Money".

"Well we know how did it work for him".
That man says this twice when he mentioned Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi and their reforms.
They aimed Iran but not worked. The Bretton woods system forced all these nations to bypass $.
Chins is the front runner.World doesnt want to repeat the mistake like they did when it is $.
So in future you can see a mixed system.Means in future s world dont wanna a single currency like $.

What is your opinion of the desire of BRICS to add their own currency to IMF's SDR's?

BRICS is a group ,unipolar method is disastororus .BRICS can act as a alternative to this. Each of the nation in this group suffered due to unethical practices of IMF in previous decades. That is why we propose an alternative to IMF.

For a while now, China has been pushing for its currency, the yuan, to be added to the Special Drawing Rights (SDR), which is the IMF’s international reserve asset based on a basket of currencies. China is likely to view the BRICS institutions as an avenue in which to boost the international statue of its currency.

“Everybody knows that the U.S. dollar’s days are numbered but there is no really currency to take its place except for the SDR,” he said. “What the world is trying to do is move to the SDR and China is fine with that.”

Rickards added that China’s goal of being in an SDR basket is the best of both worlds; the country can still have total control over its monetary policy and capital accounts but still influence global economics by being part of a basket of currencies.

“What the Chinese want is to have the Yuan in the SDR basket but not open up their capital account,” he said. “That is a backdoor way for the Yuan to be a de facto reserve currency without having to give up control.”

As for the suffering and unethical practices, I find it amusing that you think a banker from BRICS bank would want his money back any less than a banker from IMF or WB.
And technically, it's not even an investment bank to help the oppressed by the IMF, the fund is according to statements at BRICS summit in Brazil intended just to help countries when they find themselves in financial trouble. I say Russia will be first to ask for a bailout.

IMF is funded by rich Western nations. But both in WB and IMF the US have more rights than any nations and they are using this for their Global dominance.
BRICS will be way different than IMF and WB.First of all we are limiting all member nations rights in that Bank irrespective of financial capability .China is way better than others for now.But each of these nations are emerging economies and some nations like India can have a lot of potential .Or theye will increase their financialcapability in coming years. The fund all other developing economies.

We must accelerate our growth rate if we want to survive in this great new world & reclaim our true position in the world

Wait what?
So, you're saying that if i give the most money to some cause i should forfeit the rights on how to spend that (my) money?
Or let's try it like this, if i give the most money to some cause, don't i get any saying in the debate if and how that loan will be repaid? And if the entity taking the loan is infact capable of repaying.

Think about it, that's not good business.

BRICS will be way different than IMF and WB.

#top lel

I assume that by this you mean, Chinese will just hand out money and expect no results from it? And, when inevitably a case comes where there is dire need for political and economic reform (because without any of those the conditions to repay the loan wont be met), they will look the other way and keep throwing money?

Then fund all other developing economies.

I made a slight mistake actually, didn't know, there's already 50 bill. $ intended for development aid. And a separate 100 bill.$ fund for helping balancing out the account of countries in trouble.
