prophecies or no prophecies its a fact that NO country is going down or wiping out . If that was the case then by now all minnows would have been wiped out by mighty countries

It doesn't always work that way. Many times in history, minnows have wiped out mighty countries. Early expansion of Islam specially in India is a great example. Large countries also collapse under their own weight which gives oppurtnities to minnows. Arrogance, overconfidence, like we see in ours friends to the east also, helps.
