German and French people do not really care about religion. Moreover, the culture at a larger scale is similar when it comes to clothes etc

Pakistan/India - Two different things. In pursuit of profit, India will essentially takeover Pakistani entertainment. This will change our own culture/values. You can already see the "Mujra dances" based on sensational Indian songs like Sunny Leone/Kaif.

A large majority of Pakistanis will be fine for the time being but it will eventually break down.

Certain things have to be done before opening up the borders. Rules and regulations...culture, content displayed and so on. You can also see Pakistani Muslim person marrying Hindu Indian person...The pump won't die until it is pacified by the either side.

Kashmir issue is of course important.
