A quality personal vehicle is an aspiration for most people on this planet. Besides, public transport can't be end -to- end for most people.
Without a doubt, a good public transport system is the mark of any modern economy. But for people who like their freedom, go anywhere-anytime ability, a personal vehicle is a must.
Also, public transport can't reach low density/remote areas without massive expenses.

It's a taxi service that has its own private road system, and you can only go between a few specific stations like a train. It is a waste of money. 40mph is the speed at which cars will be driven in these tunnels, so what's the point of traveling in these tunnels instead of traveling above ground? You Americans could have built an underground railway instead. Why do you American hate trains so much?

2. If you want to meet your friends or potential project partners or your beloved at a tea house you can hire a taxi which will pick you up from your house at any time and take you to the tea house.

3. If you want to go on a long drive with your beloved, the taxi can pick up both of you and go on the trip. The driving can be done by you or a female company driver.

4. If you want to go on a tour with your friends you can hire a van which can also come with a toilet and kitchen.

Side point : Elimination of privately-owned personal transport vehicles will eliminate crimes drastically and also aggression, indiscipline and socially risky behavior ( motorcycle wheelies, over-speeding, tampering of silencers so as to create more noise etc )

Can you give an example of those changed tactics ? Say for motorcycle-riding criminals for gold chain snatching from women. Or kidnapping. Or for looting.

Simple. Believe it or not motorcycle attacks are rare in the US as two wheelers were never really popular here...even with criminals. They all have cars which makes it easier to kidnap people but more tricky to grab a chain.

Stealing chains off necks has always been a big problem. You'll likely get strong armed by a group than a zooming motorcycle. So that is their changed tactic here.
