A young member of my family was recently selected amongst a batch of elite students from top schools in Pakistan to attend a summer study camp at the Beijing Language and Cultural University (BLCU).
All arranged by Chinese Embassy in Islamabad..

The university has an in house Halal Restaurant for it's Muslim students.

Yes, he has a very impressive academic back ground, won some inter-school debates as well, main reason he was selected for the camp.

I have used chinese learning text books of BLCU for self study. They are very good.

Some years back due to my good score in Chinese Proficiency Test for non-native speakers (HSK test), I twice got scholarship offers from Confucius Institute to study at Ningxia University for a semester or two.

Unfortunately i could not go due to personal reasons.

I once went to a Chinese restaurant with a Chinese there we were ordered Chinese duck which came with the pancakes (very small roty) and sauce and sliced vegetables. After I was explained on how to eat it by placing the slices of the duck on the pancakes with the sauce and vegetables, I told to the Chinese “oh, this is Chinese Shawarma”

Indeed, since it's a fact, wonder how many establishments go to this extent to care and cater for other religions.
