I'm not getting agitated by any means. I was just replying to your post. Maybe you dont know but that is a trend here in PDF. first talk nice and then show your true colors. the poster you were supporting is just one of them. other famous one being shatterpoint etc.

Ofcourse they have but the other side is no saint either. Mostly, those abuses are just reciprocation for being called colonial/western puppets which people wont take lying down.

The US is stupid. They gave too many wrong signals to India, then they highly misjudged and miscalulated on Modi. When will they learn? But there is hope. China never had our back. Throughout Chinese history, China is an expert at deceiving. It is simply trying to lull India into a false sense of security. Even the article states China was not keen on accepting India to SCO. It was only after heavy deliberation with Russia, China conceded. India joining the US camp is a bigger concern for them but once they neutralize the US, they will stab us in the back. Their committment to Pakistan is non negoitbale. It is set in stone. Pakistan will always be a thorn to our side and serves as a strategic counterwieght to be used by China whenever to do its bidding.

Actually, NATO was considering extending membership to India but it was India which turned it down. At least that's what I heard in the grapevine.

highly unlikely and mostly a rumor, india isnt near the Atlantic nor has Japan and Australia ever been granted membership

What do you think if US sanctions india which has bought alot of US Military equipment and is in process.

They cannot.
It us an understanding between India and US that any military procurement from US is a commercial transaction not a strategic underpinning. Consequently we will follow our interests and US can follow theirs.

Since all our purchases are commercial in nature - ie we pay for it in full, US has limited leverage.
Coupled with the fact that all purchases from US are for the back end, not the edge of Indias war fighting ability like fighters, war ships.. therefore US influence is rather low in India.

No Matter what, no country can form NATO 'counterweight'..........

In NATO, there is one SOLID CORE (US) & all planets (countries) revolves around it.

While in SCO, there will be just too many power centers each pulling it into different directions.

We haven't bought a single LETHAL weapon system from US yet.

We will not be AFFECTED by American Sanctions.

Guess, it's not time either for the Americans to sanction a country like India.
