As for the denial syndrome of indians ....

On the one hand you have a nation that worships elephants as the embodiment of Lord Ganesh [a Hindu god with the face of an elephant], and on the other hand they’re torturing and exploiting them for profit under the veil of religion. They justify their exploitation by twisting the meaning of the holy Hindu scriptures. The vast majority of people in India are unaware of the deception.

Have you ever heard about devoted ,famous elephants like Guruvayoor Keshavan ?
He was so famous because of his devotion and he did all this things mentioned in this article like bowing down with devotion .He was also walked three times around the temple and if some one comes in front him he will nicely move them side with his trunk and if that one is a small kid he would gently lift them and move to a safe place.
Now people sees him as God.

This isnt a competition ...there is absolutely nothing bliss about being in chains! And def nothing to be forced to bow and carry tons of weight on your back and be paraded in the heat for hrs as some form of religious ritual!

What ever happening in India in religious ceremony is wrong!! They must not be tied to chains. And there will be some action once it comes in notice. But then just because it is PDF and supports debate in favour of Islam, this does NOT mean that you will point India.
Rather I would like to bring under your notice is, Elephant is respected in India as manifestation of Sri Ganesha, hence we are ought to take care of this creature!

The Animal rights are equal every where, be it Islamic republic , or Hindu Republic. And we do not have right to blame eachother on the basis of religion. If it is wrong it is wrong!! And NO religion supports killing and harsh brutal exploitation of animals for these purposes.

Yes, I agree that Punjab + Sindh always depended on buffalos and cows (Even my family) but as you said they are treated depending on the owner's situation and same apply on the owners of Elephants in Kerala too. And owner's situation for Buffalo & Cows is not fully accurate, they are beaten when they refuse to milk, they are given injections for that.

You are free to use animals for religious purposes as long as it does not involve harming the animal.

So, you're against sacrifice of animals during Eid al-Adha?

We actually condemn dog fights (never heard of bull fighting) but apparently Indians are condoning and defending this barbaric practice.

You guys are condemning it from year but its still popular in rural areas of Pakistan.
