The mutaween are also getting educated in use of satellites by KACST.
So I can see a bleak future here where Mutaween abuse High tech to continue their stupid moral policing duties with GPS and tracking devices.
God save the world from these backwards!

Goodness me ! The religious police will now use kevlar whips ? Or track a person's movement and activities with sensors and stuff ? Yet they cant stop the young prince or princess of royal family from organizing dance parties in Riyadh ...

Whats next ? Mind control perhaps ?

Dude, there is a bright side to it as well. Think about it, when Arabia is liberated from the clutches of tyranny, it will be helpful for the liberating armies to shepherd the flock! :D

With the aid of modern technology !

The problem I see here is KSA's kings believe in spreading this sort of ideology outwards towards less fortunate Islamic countries - backed up by their petro dollars and promoting their school of thought by way of religious scholars.

What about Kevlar panties secured by biometric velcro, how would one get around those? :D <--- Ok, ok it's a joke, no one get their panties in a twist.

The man has a silver tongue - talks of inter faith harmony and liberal stuff but yet his actions in KSA say exactly the opposite ... and Abdullah is thought to be the most liberal of all Saudi Kings ever ...

Sir , do you work for La Senza by any chance ? :P I will add proximity sensors to that as well as unique identification system - dont ask me how that will work ! :D

.
At the rate they are progressing , I can only speculate but it can be worse than that :cheesy: ...

A micro chip in their women's body is not that bad an idea though...guess they'll wait for the technology to improve some more.

Yes, I went through all your posts here, you did give lots of ideas that could be used in the future in KSA...and I suspect they might too.

One year later in the news:

"Saudi men now control their wives with high-tech nanotechnology powered collars attached to their neck,so they won't be able to go as far as 5 meters from their lovely husbands" :smitten:

Saudis are going fast forward in using advanced technology.

I understand that Saudis sometimes exaggerate applying some Islam practices like covering up the face and women driving, but... but... the woman in Islam must not leave without her husbands or father and the guardian in general permission, and this is mandatory in Islam not in Saudi culture my brother, this is not slavery at all, I can't let my wife leave alone to a distant place for her own safety.

Guys, I can understand non-Muslims critisim but it's absurd to see Muslims criticize it, this is Islam, commit to it or just leave it, not to make it suit your own thoughts and beliefs.

I have noticed this allot, non-Arab who don't understand Arabic inserted many of their cultural beliefs into it, and it's even getting worse. I know that some Arabs did that and they are a minority, but you will never understand Quraan or Hadiths perfectly if you don't understand Arabic, I read Arabic Ayats and the best translations available and they are not the same 100%, it's so beautiful and clear if you read it in Arabic.

What I am saying is that I hope people here leave us practice Islam the way it has always been for 1400 years. You guys do whatever you want, it's your own business but keep your beliefs away from us.

Eventually, no one is perfect, don't ever learn Islam from the way people act or practice, Quraan firstly and Sahih Hadiths secondly are your only preferences. I know I am not perfect myself.

Bro , kindly do not insult our great religion by declaring these practices as part of Islam ... They are rather part of a twisted made-to-suit-some-people-interest interpretation of Islam , I see its implementation every other day in my country ... No where the religion forbids women to drive or to seek permission before doing anything or to be tracked for God's sake !

This idea of yours will help me go a long way in achieving that goal! :D

What am I doing here seriously ! :D
