Ecuador Loses Fourth (Out of Seven) Indian Dhruv Helo

Or more like metal fatigue combined with training issues. :)

We have been using some migs for close to 50 years.

That's pure industrial sabotage.

There are 5 other countries including us using the Dhruvs. Never seen this.

Someone is pressing their product by making ours look bad.

Sadly, Ecuadorian pilots are paying the price of this.

No dude, this is pure incompetence. Turns out Equador has crashed 30% to 40% of just about every helo they've bought irrespective of manufacturer.

I guessed sabotage because it was a widely publicized tender in which HAL won over the likes of Bell in their own backyard. That could be a a reason to press the EAF to reconsider their options.

Let's hope the Ecuadorians deal with this fairly & not fall under any wrong pressure. Dhruv is actually a beast. It is only hampered by HAL's production & after sales support limitations.

What I've been trying to say from day one but all too many people are quick to start blaming the ALH and HAL :disagree:
