Ebola will soon affect 2 million by The new year buddy. This isn't a laughing matter.

I expect 4 months for ebola to hit india. Then there will be chaos as Ebola spreads like it has never done before. Atleast in western Africa people are spread out and there are more rural living people. In India, most of the population is urban, and the cities are literally a disease breeding fest. So I am very scared of what will happen to the world in few months

this is just overreaction.. it will definitely reach India but I can easily predict the total death will be less than even swine flu (although ebola has high mortality rate).
If you remain here, we can compare our predictions next year.

Patha yaar, but Polio is alive and kicking in Pakistan, Ebola isn't in India and inshallah won't.

It's serious this time. India should ban travel to Africa.

I still think people are unnecessarily panicking.... remember how all Indians were supposed to die of aids and then swine flu.
Any virus that kills the host within such short period has very less capability to infect others. Which means govt can quarantine people and stop disease from spreading.
The real dangerous viruses remain in the body and infect huge number of people before fatality of host.

Sorry you don't understand Swine Flu had more ways to stop the spread of it plus there were vaccines readily available and medicine.

What about Ebola? Zmapp the only drug that can cure Ebola takes months to make. No Ebola vaccine has been thoroughly tested and even then it is extremely expensive.

So don't try to play this off. This could be as big as the Bubonic plague

There is emergency wards in every airports to contain and isolate patients. It is easy to identify ebola patients from the rests.

ebola has high mortality rate.. but it does not spread fast.. most patient in africa have infected just one other person.
It can be easily contained... compare ebola with terrorism/airline crash .. it grabs headline but very few of us will die even if goes to India.
800 people died of ebola in africa.. 300,000 died from malaria this year in same continent.

Last I checked it was well over 2000 people died so far, I hope it doesn't reach our countries cause it will kill by 1000s plus they were saying its airborn( I could be wrong and hope fully, I'm wrong) about it being airborn.

African population compare to our countries it will be devastating for us.

India does have many African migrants, which could be a source of infection.

I hope India takes precautions, as if it is in India, it will be in Pakistan.

We also have our polio issues to take care of. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Apart from fighting, Both of us should start taking preventive measures and post impact precautionary measures in advance of Ebola.
