During 7 minutes, Jamal Khashoggi Dismembered Alive, Saudi Killer Listened To Music During Murder

If so, then as more than one member is alluding to here, wtf were the Turks doing while this was happening.

The 7 minute window sounds a lot like a Turk shoulder shrug to me.

Cheers, Doc

It's a consulate, so it's sovereign territory, they can't violate it. Even if the wanted to they could not because the whole drama was over within 7 minutes. There is also the possibility the Turks rather wanted to use it to score some points against Saudi or to get some leverage in trade deals, in Syria or any other kind of leverage they thought was beneficial for their country. I personally think the most likely cause is they did not raid the consulate because of it's sovereignty and shortage of time to do it.

The invioabiity of a consulate has been nicely nixed here or on other similar threads. There have been precedents.

I've read from Pakistanis about the Iraqi consulate being raised too.

The 7 minute thing sounds like a Turk coverup to say there was too little time to do anything.

By reports, the people were inside for over two hours no?

Cheers, Doc

The grotesque mutilation of Khashoggi began while he was still alive, and his screams were heard by a witness downstairs in the consulate, ending only when the Saudi killers injected Khashoggi “with an as yet unknown substance,”

The torture-killing of Khashoggi lasted seven full minutes, and was carried out by Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, “who has been identified as the head of forensic evidence in the Saudi general security department,” A Turkish source told the New York Times that Tubaigy was equipped with a bone saw.

“Tubaigy began to cut Khashoggi’s body up on a table in the study while he was still alive….As he started to dismember the body, Tubaigy put on earphones and listened to music. He advised other members of the squad to do the same.” “When I do this job, I listen to music. You should do [that] too,”
How can one human do that to another human?not.just human,we cant even torture an animal while its still alive...is this cruelty ingrained in arabs because of their dwelling in those harsh deserts for thousands of years?because of their constant wars within their tribes for the limited resources that are available in those deserts?
These are not psychos who undertook this job...they are people like you and me who are working under saudi regime

What do you mean people like you and me man?

Are you trying to be politically correct?

I'm a doctor. I don't fly in and out of airports with a bone saw.

I do carry my Bose headphones though ....

I don't think Turkey is uncivilized enough to raid a consulate. They are far more sophisticated, civilized and democratic. I don't know about the precedents but I would bet they took place in countries that are not well known for being bastions of law and order and civility.

From the news reports I am reading, it appears to me that some of the journalists from some big media outlets actually listened to the recordings, maybe the Turks allowed them to listen to it but did not share a copy. The 7 minutes story sounds legit to me.

In any case, the blame is on the KSA government, specifically the bastard MBS. I know it won't happen, but in an ideal world I want this bastard beheaded in public as per Islamic law.

I'm just putting points forward.

The Turks knew and did nothing.

Kashoggi was of Turkish lineage.

Arabs are by nature barbaric people, they have always been like that. The modern cities, great roads, shiny cars in their countries today are just the facade, they remain same behind the facade. However, this incident has nothing to do with them being barbaric, it's more of doing of the autocratic monarchy.

And I am just putting forward my point that Turks' hands were tied. They couldn't do anything even if they wanted to.

Doctor it's also a possibility that those bugs were automatically recorded for analysis later. I don't think their secret agents stay infront of the monitor 24/7. Most like they got alerted and looked at the recording after his fiancee raised the alarm bell.

Considering the current state of the middle east and Saudi Turkey relations, I'd say that they would have humans listening in 24x7. Round the clock.

And in any country, it take minutes for security forces to move into position in the diplomatic enclaves.

The Turks knew. They waited ....

7 minutes of torture till death. That's when the screaming stops.

2 hours to cut him to size, pack things up and leave.

Agree.

But he was being beaten for some time before being dragged to the table and the cutting began.

Have you ever heard a silent beating?

Cheers, Doc

I doubt they knew from before that he was going to be killed. If they were listening 24/7 they came to know only when the screams started. Honestly I don't see any reason for the Saudis to delay the execution and be done with it. So it was definitely done rather quickly and Turks simply couldn't move in police into a consulate willy nilly even if they had the time.

Well bro, even if it was a total of 2 hours, Turks could not go in and raid it. Raiding a consulate would require highest level of clearance directly from the PM. The intelligence could not possibly manage that clearance from PM in 2 hours, neither could the PM take such a decision within 2 hours and authorize it.
