I don't think the US is too keen to consider Afghanistan's position on this - the US would prefer KPK and FATA to remain with Pakistan - they cannot sort out the present Afghanistan, they must be nuts to support an increased Afghan territory which they are not.

But then Afghanistan holds on to the point that the agreement was is 1893 between British India and Afghanistan and was for a period of 100 years and that 100 years is over. No way US is going to support Afghanistan on this.
