It's actually right as it is.

AEW&C is defined thus :

An airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) system is
an airborne radar picket system designed to detect aircraft, ships and vehicles
at long ranges and perform command and control of the battlespace
in an air engagement by directing fighter and attack aircraft strikes.

AWACS is the name of an American made AEW&C system
so profoundly different in scope that we use it as a type ...
but that's as incorrect as calling a paper handkerchief a

Kleenex.

That system is the E-3 Sentry so that rightful users of the term
are France, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Luxembourg standing in for NATO
and, most of all, the United States of America of course! Japan has
the particular mention of earning it for the E-767 fitting the E-3 in
a more actual airframe.

All others have one AEW&C or another, possibly with a jazzy name too.

BTW, the difference in capacity was in the AEW denomination, without C
meaning Control that came later. Today's Ka-31s found on the Vikra and
Talwars are AEW air vectors for example regardless of their shape or pro-
pulsion system : they do not control other aircrafts, set tactics, etc!

That's right. Two inducted by the IAF, one used as a testbed by CABS.
