Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Wednesday said that Muslims have been shoved to the corner of the world in the new global system.

“The Muslim region has been used as a fodder in a great game in the recent period. Its resources have been plundered and its borders have been redrawn,” he said an award ceremony for the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and Turkish Academy of Sciences (TUBA) in Ankara.

“The new global system has backed the Muslim world into a corner. In this new order, Muslims are denied a say in their own future, nor have they had a say in the future of humanity."

Referring to the five permanent Security Council members, China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States, Erdoğan said: "The world is bigger than five. There are 194 members, but dont the 15 temporary members have any worth at all? They dont. I thought that it was established on justice? Dont search for justice at the UN Security Council or the United Nations. It doesn't exist."

"The fact that the Muslim world, which has a population of 1.7 billion people, does not have even a single permanent member in the UN Security Council, is a result of this distortion. That is why I say that the world is bigger than five," he concluded.

UN is the most useless organisation on the face of this planet but this coming from a country which is part of NATO.

First of all, stop calling it "the Muslim world" everyone is part of the same damn world. This is part of the issue, it makes us look alienated to the rest of the world.
Secondly, he is right. No one is coming to save our sorry a**. We brought this on our selves and we are gonna get out of this on our own, inshallah.

If Turkey wasn't in Nato, Erdogan would be part of the 'Axis of Evil', with Iran and North Korea. We would read about how Erdogan is persecuting the Kurds and how Erdogan is using chemical weapons on the Kurds.

To blackmail Nato members to not lie and warmonger, Turkey should stay in to shame Nato members.

Erdogan is too intelligent to leave Nato.

Turkey pulled the embassy in Hell Aviv a year ago.
