After the budget price hike could not be arrested as assured by finance minister. Even that price hike become true before the budget is approved. Repeated increase of the price of gas and electricity has increased the production and services costs of all manufactured products of industries dependent on gas and electricity. Transportation costs have gone up for increasing fuel cost ( oil and gas) having another corresponding blow on the purchasing capabilities of most of the people who were outside the benefit of pay and salaries increment In fact what percentage of people came within that barricade other than the government employees?. Bribe taking by all habitual government police and other employees have broken all previous records despite of paying them double the salary they used to earn before. Without including able and solvent new tax payers who never pay taxes, only those voluntarily willing and sincere old tax payers are subjected to pay tax and VAT year after year. How these are going on? How black money is being white after paying only 10% of tax of the amount of black money where genuine tax payers have to pay tax at progressive rate? If I keep on telling like this the total list will be as big as a Yellow page book. These are the beats and sounds of the heart of common people. The financial incentives given by the government to the old, widows, helpless and destitutes are to be purchased from your party's local chairmen, members and their cadres in exchange of money without which they hardly include the names of the really deserving people in the list of receipients. People engaged in any paid services could be discouraged from buying saving certificates from banks by reducing interest rates. But those jobless retirees men and women who have ö other source of income to survive how they wij live if the interest rate on saving certificates are reduced? Those who criticize do not expect to buy tickets for going to power or enjoying the halua rooties of power. These are rational, honest and just people who 2n feel the pulses of the people, whom the dishonest, looters, and irresponsible people can hate for personal interest. Building attractive roads, flyovers, and other infra structures are not developments if these fail to ensrure reduction of human sufferings and expansion of comfortability or easement of life of the majority.
