Maybe it contains Polonium....to give that closer shave :P
Well, I know overheating does lead to cutaneous mastocytosis (skin lesions) but whether these lesion would become cancerous is not in my knowledge. At any rate, I am not fond of using these electronic devices. In-fact, I shave using a straight razor also known as the cut-throat razor, you often see it at the barber shops. The best and closest shave can only be achieved using the straight razor.

I only have moustache issues - Its not the same thing ! :pissed:

Cut throat is too much hassle for me. I just use the Gillete fusion, 5 blade. What i've observed is that with that many blades, it gives you a closer shave than having to slide it again and again. That way i don't get micro-cuts and dry skin.

Yes, you are right about Fusion 5, it does the job pretty well. I was using fusion before finally switching to straight razor. Indeed using it was quite a hassle and first couple of weeks were terrible. However, once you get use to it, it gives level of flexibility and precision simply unachievable from a safety razor. Additionally, using straight razor is both economical and more hygienic.

Generally, i have a decent amount of facial hair every two days. So if i am working then i shave every two days, otherwise mostly every 6 days or so. But i have to first trim with an electric shaver the hair short and then shave, because no matter whether i use a cut throat or 5 blade safety razor, the hair just keep getting stuck. I know cut throat is better but it's just that the 5 blade safety razor is much easier in the morning when my brain cells are half asleep.

Plus, Doctor Sahib, you are 50 something and i am, according to Indians here, still 13 years old.
:ashamed:

Well, at-least one thing is for sure, older I am growing, faster I am returning back to or acquiring taste for vintage stuff. Stopped using almost all (with exception to socks, ties, bows) polyester -based clothing material and only go for pure cotton or pure wool; only use pure leather -based wallets, shoes, belts etc. It just feels more natural, purer, and clean. Eagerly looking forward to have my own cattle farm following retirement and spend rest of my life like my forefathers, a farmer or rancher's life.

Unless the Chinese put tiny cursed cancer causing leprechauns inside these things, I don't see how or why this would be the case and how on earth you started this thread because of that.
