Muzaffarnagar:Because of his derogatory remarks against Muslims and Prophet Mohammed, Hindu Mahasabha activist Kamlesh Tiwari is in trouble. Fumed over his remarks against the Prophet, about one lakh Muslims protesters gathered in Muzaffarnagar and demanded death penalty for Tiwari.
In Bengaluru too, a huge protest by thousands of Muslims resulted in a massive traffic problem on Friday evening. The eastern part of Bengaluru went into gridlock for over three hours on Friday evening. Nearly 20,000 Muslim protesters marched to the Khuddus Saheb Idgah Maidan on the Nandidurga Road to protest remarks made by right wing leader Kamalesh Tiwari in Uttar Pradesh.
Protesters under the banner of ‘Ittehad-e-Millat’ led by Maulana Khalid, closed their business here and demonstrated against the Hindu Mahasabha activist.
Tiwari’s comments against the minority community recently sparked angry reactions from the people. Many minority groups had protested against the activist in several areas in the state.
The security has been tightened in the district.
