Probably because of sectarian policy in Iraq, the best would be to split it into Sunni/Shia Iraq, it makes no sense to keep it together artifcally, or we wont stop hearing about car bombs detonating before mosques.

I think you need to learn about politics. A dictator needs the support of his inner circle,
and needs enough loyal security forces to keep the population in constant fear.
A dictator can fake elections, and latest election was considered a joke, even by Russia,
so that cannot be taken as proof of support.

So no, I don't have to accept anything but his resignation.
Not that I have any hope for a government which is beneficial to the Syrians.

those elections were to prevent nato from invading syria and killing more syrians... syria has a proper system with basis in socialism... it is insane that syria has to show to some two-bit western government which has appeal in syria only among the religious or hippie idiots.

that simple , for none sunni , Wahhabism/Takfirism/Salafism are another face of Sunnism ... fact is that no great sunni scholar talk against Wahhabism/Takfirism and prevent people from joining them ...
