Absolutely, a superpower confined and chained to its own borders...

India is Regional Super Power not global one.

The reason is we are superior to all nations in South Asia-militarily, diplomatically and economically.

We are the Only Nation is South Asia which is Deep Space Power, The only nation which has Trillion Dollar Economy and only nation which has ICBM.

A casual glance at SCS and Tajikistan suggets otherwise.

Pak and China did their best to bog us down in South Asia and that startegy delayed our Rise till early 1990s.

Afterwards it started failing as India's Rise started as Major Econmic and Military Power since late 1990s.

The first sign of the failure of the above startegy was success of Agni 3.

where 60% of the people defecate in public
needs UN help on how to $hit
which cannot even take care of its dead with bodies floating down its rivers
where feral pigs in it's urban areas eat human fetuses thrown on garbage piles
which is the biggest importer of weapons in the world
which cannot even manufacture an ab-initio trainer for its air force or have an indigenous main battle tank
where even the indigenous rifle is failure and needs replacement after 10 years of service
where living in delusion is the official state policy i.e. Hindus having invented air and space travel thousand years ago.
which is not even a regional power because it does not have the balls to take on a country seven times smaller.
which goes running to the US any chance it gets to complain about Pakistan
with delusions of grandeur about its military or economic power

No, we are not a super power. There is only one Super Power and that is the USA. Earlier the Soviet Union cmbined with Warsaw Pact nations were the balancer, challengers but now there is none.
Also, power has no meaning if you dont exert it. US and Russia keep exerting their powers in their sphere of influence. India may be top 4 military and top 3 economic power in the world but she is still considered a soft state.

To become a super power Indians need to focus more on their general public's health, food and other things............there are more than 300000000 peoples living below poverty line in India.....by just area or spending more budget on weapons you can't become superpower while your peoples are starving with hunger.

India is not a super power, Neither intend to become one........ We have our own problems to resolve, and our aim is to resolve them....... After resolving these issues, if some one like to call us a "Super Power", let them call it.....

It is just a name which doesn't change the ground reality........
