They care about Xinjiang Uighur as much as they do about Libyan, Iraqi, Syrians, Ucrainian or Afghans. ̀̀̉Thanks to great care by the West, these people are now living the lives they might not imagine before stupidly asking ̣̣ consciously or unconsciously for Western intervention by hanging the banners written in English "we want freedom".

Now they are enjoying the jungle freedom, with dying children because of lacking of medicines, illiterate children because schools were bombed, amputated adults because of the explosives. It may take many generations, if not hundreds of years, for an average country ̣with not so productive population and not sitting on a gold field, to come back to a normal and decent standard of living which they enjoyed before Western intervention.

Not every country can ever be as success as China or Korea. Most other countries would take very, very long time to build their countries back to pre-conflict level after a devastating war. Some may never be able to do it.

Just because America have done it hundreds of years ago, doesn't mean it justifies China own attempt to do the same in the 21st century.

Are you kidding me, quoting Bible as a historic fact? and Egypt was not a world power, not in our part of the world at least. events happened that far back can never be verified. Common sense tells us you can never develop a region by locking up and persecuting the whole bunch of the local population.
Besides, China fully trusts Uighurs, most police forces in Xinjiang are Uighurs themselves, and Uighurs widely serve in Chinese armed forces, they are heavily armed with best weapons, but not even one Uighur soldier or police officer turned their guns against the government. this simple fact shows their loyalty to China.
