What's new

Do we (Paks) want to copy Chinese culture or just JF-17?

Yes! Wow you know a lot about Japanese and Prussian / German training processes. Impressive !

The same is retained to this day, too. We try to keep up to date with foreign methodology, and to see whether or not it can be applicable to ours, and if new concepts can be integrated.

Thank you. I love military history (as you can tell :-))

I sure as **** hope culture as well, because we need to be "banday ka puttars" STAT.

Pray may I ask what's the meaning of this term?

"banday ka puttars"

"banday" civilized human
"ka" of

"puttars"is plural of "puttar" meaning "son"

In Pakistani areas of Punjab, older people use this term for the youngsters to be "bunday ka puttar"
as "be son of a civilized man"
as "behave yourself"
or "be civilized"

as opposed to behaving like an animal such as "monkey or a donkey"

hahah

I am sure you have similar proverbs in Japan.

@FaujHistorian may be you need to see a psychiatrist. :)

JF-17 had always been a joint venture with a lot of input from Pakistan as it was a Pakistan specific platform designed for Pakistan needs. My uncle was part of the design team from Pakistan side.

We dont copy Chinese. If there is what you call copying, its license production. If you look at it, Chinese copied Russian weapons massively to develop their weapons industry. They copied as there was no license production or technology transfer agreement with USSR. They are doing the same in their automobile industry. Its Chinese who are known to copy everything.

Read the excellent posts of @Nihonjin1051 and understand how copying culture hand in hand in copying tech. If someone really wants to be independent developer of weapons.
